“Seungminnie Hyung? Could we maybe hang out a little bit? I want to ask you some things but I don’t wanna do it around the other hyungs.” Jeongin blushed at the request that slipped shyly from his lips. Seungmin smiled vibrantly. “Of course Innie, come on in.” Jeongin closed the door to his hyung’s tastefully decorated bedroom. Patting the bed next to him, the brunette vocalist invited Jeingin to sit beside him. “So, In-ah, what’s on your mind?” Jeongin sighed. “Seungminnie Hyung, what do you think about gay people?” Jeongin asked, blinking up at Seungmin cutely. Sloghtly taken aback by the straightforwardness of the question, Seingmin paused to think.
“In-ah, can I trust you with my answer?”
“O-of course, hyung.”
“I’m bisexual.”
Smiling with joy, Jeongin hugged the elder. “Happy Pride, hyung. I’m demisexual.”
“Thank you for telling me, Innie. Now, spill, do you like anyone?”
Blushing shyly, Jeongin covered his pink cheeks. “You go first!”
“Hyunjin Hyung.”
“Hyunnie Hyung? Why?”
“Oh I could write a whole screenplay. His dance, his voice, his hair, his height, his muscles, his personality, his smarts, his goofiness, his big hands, and his cute face.”
Jeongin burned with pain and jealousy.
“Your turn!”
“O-oh, I-” he couldn’t say it. Seungmin’s eyes sparkled and his entire face lit up when he described the dancer. Jeongin couldn never compare.
“Can you promise nothing will change between us?”
“Of course Innie, you're my most trusted friend.”
“I have a bit of a crush on you, hyung.” I’m a filthy goddamn liar, but if he knew the extent of my love, he would feel uncomfortable.
“Thank you for telling me, In-ah. I’m so sorry I don’t feel the same way but you mean a lot to me and I don’t want to lose you.”
Minnie Hyung, you’ve already lost me.
“Of course hyung, vocalracha for life right?
“You know it! Now, wanna watch a movie?”
Before you know it, I will be nothing but a shell of my former self. And it is all Hwang Hyung’s fault, the asshole.
