CHAPTER ELEVEN
Nathan nodded his understanding but kept silent for just a few moments longer while he regained his composure. When he felt more in control of himself, he spoke.
"If you'd please keep me posted on Officer Jenkins' condition, I'd appreciate it," he told the physician, and handed him a business card as he and Steve rose to take their leave. "And I'd like to go see how Agent Zimmerman is doing now, if that's all right."
"I will, absolutely," Manning responded. "And by all means, go ahead. She's being looked after in triage bay fourteen, I believe. Go back down the hall to the waiting room, then go through the double doors. After that, turn left, and it should be the fifth doorway to the right."
