"You know what?" Annie said as she reached for another slice. "I'm wondering if the third guy ties in with the others at all."
"Why not?"
"Well, there's some pretty big variances here. He wasn't washed, for starters. And he wasn't dumped in the boonies like the other three. And if you remove him from this timeline? Look. The other three are spaced out precisely four weeks apart."
She paused, then tapped the side of the board where she'd written the questions.
"Check it out. Three of these directly relate to this third victim," Annie pointed out, and Ben nodded his agreement.
"I think maybe we could have a copycat on our hands for that third guy," he suggested. "It's a theory that makes sense. At the very least it would explain the lack of residue and the timeframe not being consistent
