"Nathan, big news," Lizzie said as she rushed into the room. "Did you see my text?"
He shook his head no, then pulled out his phone and read what she'd sent him.
He looked up at her with wide eyes, then texted back.
When?
"About fifteen minutes ago," she said. "Donny's going with me."
"Actually, Donny is driving her," Donny said from behind her, making Nathan smirk.
"How far away is it?" Nathan asked.
"Couple of hours."
Nathan addressed his next question directly to the agent under his command.
Are you sure it's not a trap? he texted.
Lizzie read it, then looked into his eyes as she replied, her tone full of conviction.
"Positive."
Nathan raised an eyebrow and held her gaze intently. You'd better be damn sure, his expression read loud and clear.
"Nathan. I'm sure," Lizzie said
