Bella came into the kitchen long enough to say hello to the new arrival, then retreated to the master bedroom. The three agents settled into Nathan’s home office once they'd each grabbed a cup of coffee.
“You look exhausted,” Lizzie observed.
“I am,” Jones admitted with a wan smile. “Haven’t slept much the last three days or so.”
Nathan took a sip of coffee and set his mug down.
