11 Roy took Mori to her bed. He fetched a bucket of water and sat at her bedside, washing the dirt and dried blood from her bleeding hand and checking the scratches that covered her arms. He focused silently on the simple task as if his life depended on it. He hadn’t spoken since he’d gotten his strength back. “I’ll heal.” Mori broke the silence. Roy wiped off the last bit of blood. “Your healing process is always slow. This might hurt a bit.” “Why did you go to the woods to kill those wolves?
