“Just make sure you’re not putting yourself in danger. It’s your welfare over everything, Lyanne. Nothing is more important than your welfare.”
It was Andrei’s words toward me after I told him about my contract with Killian. At first, he did not like it, but I told him that Killian is a friend of mine, and I was the one who suggested the contract: to work for him for six months in return for my father’s freedom.
