Lyanne’s POV
I know that my father wants me to go back to our house not only because he wanted to ask me some questions but also because he is angry at what I did, to be Killian’s girlfriend. Aside from that, I also want to go to our house because I wanted him to know that Killian is a good person. He may not be a perfect boyfriend and human, but he is better than most of those who lie in goodness.
Killian sighed, and his hold on my hand tightened, nodding his head slowly.
“It’s okay, baby. What’s important is you’ll still come back, right? ”
I think that is also one of the problems with me going back to our house. This is not like my other homecomings—quick and short days. Rather, I am expecting that my dad wants me to stay longer in our house.
