“You don’t know him that well, Lyanne. He’s a big tycoon, and for sure, he’s got so much power within himself.”
I nodded. Creston is right. Nobody knows how powerful Killian is, and I bet even his helpers don’t know either.
“I know. That was why I agreed to his proposal. I mean, I could’ve just chosen the other way, paying him triple the price of what my father has stolen from him. But my only problem is, where should I get that huge amount of money? Even if I work hard and triple my salary, it’s still not enough.”
