Chapter 4: The party

On the day of the party I woke up early and first thing first i took a shower. Then I make myself ready for this day. I know I will be busy and exhausted at the end of it. I go to the kitchen and make breakfast for the pack. Later the alpha walked in to give me my breakfast." Here is your breakfast. You know that you have to stay in the kitchen als long as the guests are here" alpha jason said. " Jes alpha I know that" and with that he leaves the kitchen. The breakfast was finally enough for a day to get by. I saved myself some bread to eat later. I hope this is my last day here and my plan to escape is a success. You will be fine, my wolf said. Then i finish the dishes I was working on  yesterday. After breakfast the two she-wolfs who helped me walked in and got to work. They didn't talk to me, only listening to me about what they needed to do. I left them mostly alone. I hated them they never beaten me but abused me mentality and that is worse. In the afternoon a team of waiters comes in and I fill them in on what's what. I answered their questions and repeated myself multiple times. I teach them how to serve the amuses and the dinner to the guests. Then another couple of people came in and I showed them how to make the snack table outside in the garden. I was not allowed to leave the kitchen and do it myself. Doing this was the next best thing. The alpha had ordered me to never leave the kitchen when the guests are here. He didn't want to risk that they saw my ugly face and ask questions about me. The rest of the day is flying by. Before the guest arrives I change in my good clothes that are given to me by the alpha. Despite the fact that I wasn't allowed out of the kitchen he wanted me to wear nice clothes. Maybe they saw a glimpse of me and that was enough for him to give me these clothes. After that it's time to make the bowls with the amuses on it for the guests. When They arrived at the packhouse everybody tensed up. The waiters came in to take the amuses away. I heard nothing from the waiters of the guest like them or not so I hope they do like them. I prepared this with pain and some sort of love. Don't worry if they like them, you can cook as the best and you only make delicious food anyways, my wolf said. Thank you Sterre, you will always make my day. I smiled at her. I hear they moved to the dinner room so I make the plates for the starter and make it look perfect. If they take them I ask them to sign me in when they are done so that I know when to make the plates for the main course. It's very busy in the kitchen I walk from hot to here. I have never seen so many people in this kitchen. Mostly the pack dodge the kitchen because I am in there most of the time. After the main course the desserts are served and many people walk out of the kitchen to go change for the party. When the dinner is over I am all alone to clean up everything while I am worn-out. I stand by the door to listen if anyone says anything about the food. I heard many other things but nothing about the food. I was so disappointed I walked away from the door and started to clean. I have never worked so hard before. It was midnight when I was done cleaning. I decided to go to my room and prepare to escape and take some rest. When I walked out of the kitchen to the hallway I saw the alpha. It was obvious he was drunk and I knew I was in trouble. He came red with anger in an instant when he saw me. " WHAT DO YOU DO OUT OF THE KITCHEN YOU B****H" he yelled at me. " I...I thought I would go to my room" I answered him. " YOU THOUGH YOU CAN GO TO YOUR ROOM DID I NOT SAY YOU STAY IN THE KITCHEN AS LONG AS THE GUESTS ARE HERE?" he yelled more at me. " Sorry alpha I go back to the kitchen" and I looked down to the floor. Before I could react he slapped me in the face. Then a rain of fistst came down on me. Soon I fell on the floor and that didn't stop him. He kicked me everywhere " I wish I had never accepted you in the pack the minute i knew you were a lantern you only are problems" alpha jason whispered in my ear. One last time and he kicked me in the head after that I saw black and passed out from the extreme pain in my head. He picked me up and got to the dungeons. He threw me in a cell and left me there for dead. He locked the door to the dungeons. Little that I knew my wolf realised my scent. She hoped that someone could smell me and rescue me. Fore use to survive this. 

Alpha david POV:

We received a tip that in the dark moon pack there is a girl being abused by the pack and by the alpha. I had orders from the council to investigate this tip and report back. I had absolutely no interest in it. But orders are orders and they trust my judgment. Yess I want to help that girl, nobody deserves to be abused. But it's a weak pack and they are absolutely irritating. They always want something from you. Money or more power mostly the alpha but pack members also. I don't want to sound cocky but all the females throw themselves at me and that is irritating. They have no self respect whatsoever. I want to save myself for my mate. Yes I am not innocent but I have never had s*x. My parents had raised me with the belief of the secret mate bond, the one who is meant to be for you and only you. I am the feared alpha who rules with an iron fist. I am strong and can defeat any other alphas. I am the strongest besides the alpha king and have the largest pack besides the royal pack. I don't have much mercy and don't spare anybody who is in my way. But I give a lot about my pack. I want them to be strong and well taken care of. It's mandatory for everybody in my pack to train. So they know at least the basics of fighting and defence. It doesn't matter if you are the beta or an omega, you need to know the basics so you can defend yourself from an attack. Also they have to maintain their stigma and strength. I rule my pack with authority and honesty. You are responsible for your own actions. That's how you get punished fairly and you have the right to defend yourself except for rogues and trespassers. That is what I call what we do with them. All my pack members have respect for me and they trust me that I rule with honesty. So I do that I ask my father and my beta for consolation if I don't know what to do and ask for their opinion. I listen to them and take their answer into consideration. And what are we gonna do with the dark moon pack, my wolf asks. We will visit them and take a look I sighted. I made a phone call to the dark moon pack. Their alpha is named Jason. I never met him before. "Hello you speak with alpha david from blood moon. We will come to visit you guys in about a week on Saturday" I said. "Why did you visit the dark moon? Is something wrong or do you want to discuss something?" he asked me. I didn't answer him and instead I said " I see you on Saturday goodbye" and hung up the phone. I didn't want to deal with this guy. I was annoyed I had so much better things to do. On this trip I will take my sister Hanna with me because she is the best at discovering secrets. She is more friendly and likeable than me and I trust her completely. Nobody will talk to me because I am feared by many. They are scared that I will do something to them. I also will take some worriers and some unmated wolves, maybe also the doctor just in case. I hope we are less than a treat to them this way. I debrief everybody who will go with us to the dark moon pack. So they know why we are there. I ask them to pack their suitcase a day before so we can leave at any time.
