"Where have you been, Alexandra? Where did you sleep? You made me so worried!"
As soon as she entered their house, her mother's voice immediately greeted her. She kissed her mother first, her forehead kissed, and one hand resting on her waist.
"I slept in Jess' condo, mom." She bit the side of her cheek for lying.
The truth is she slept with Damon, but she would never tell that to her mother. For sure, her mother would go hysterical if she found out that Damon was the one she spent the whole night with. She couldn't see the right reason why her parents disliked Damon.
Was it because he was a womanizer? But that was before! He's changed now. The guy was now sticking to her alone. She hoped her parents would see that.
"You should've at least phoned us and let us know your whereabouts."
