Alexandra opened her eyes when she heard a commotion nearby. She had been in a deep, long sleep. With blurry vision, she saw her parents talking to a man. It was Tommy. Just by his stance, she knew it was him. "She's awake," her mother announced. She weakly looked at them. Her mother really wouldn’t budge. She was determined to insist on her plan to marry her to a man she didn’t feel anything for, not even a little. "Hi, I hope we didn’t disturb your sleep," Tommy said apologetically.
