Ciel was starting to go insane because of what happened to Zoe. He rushed his wife to the emergency room after the car hit her. Now, he was waiting for the doctor to come out. Her blood was all over his shirt. He could still imagine the pain on her face and how she fought, but eventually, Zoe lost consciousness, and that broke his heart painfully. Seeing her in pain was like stabbing his heart multiple times with a sharp knife.
“What happened? How is she?” Carter’s voice made him turn around. He had called his brother when Zoe was admitted to the emergency room.
He sat on a bench, stunned. “The car hit her, and I don’t know how my wife is now.” He ran his fingers through his hair out of frustration. “I don’t know what to do... I don’t know what will happen to me if I lose her, Kuya...”
