Good Girls 'Wait'

2058 Words
I'm kind of frustrated. I wanted more. I sigh and head upstairs. My house seems dark and empty without Alice or aunt Lillian. I realise I've never really been alone like this before. I was always running before and I had strick rules. Finding my mate made me almost forget about all of those old habits. I lock all the locks on the front and back doors and I check every window In the house. I open every door in my house so I know if someone could be hiding in a room. Even every closet door. My phone vibrates and it makes me jump. It's a text from rosie. She wants to come over and get ready for the next bonfire gathering. I agree since I'm hoping to see my friend Alice there. She's supposed to be changing, but I have no idea how long it will take.  It's not long before rosie is here and we are getting ready. I've almost ditched my old wardrobe of shorts, dresses, and fancy clothes for denim, tshirts, tank tops, and sneakers. Not to say I dont have a few things tucked away though. I throw on a light pink dusty rose long sleeve shirt on and some white denim cut off shorts and white sneakers to match and we head out. Sadly I dont see Alice, but I dont see zach either. Walter is here though so I head over to him,      "Alice?" I ask       "She's fine, Zach was successful and they are together, she's healing. Not fully awake or aware yet, but it shouldn't be long," he says     "So, you dont know if he's her mate yet?" I ask. He nods no. I dont see dillan around, but I do feel someone looking at me. I glance around for rosie. Shes drinking. Dillan isnt here and I'm pretty sure no one else is focused on me other than Walter. I get the chills, but shake them away. The party ends quickly when two guys start brawling and Walter had to break it all up.  I'm walking home. It's cold and I'm shivering. I can see my porch light glow up a head, then suddenly someone grabs me and holds my arms and covers my mouth. I try biting it, but they have strong leather gloves. I try kicking, but the guy is tall and muscular so that gets me nowhere. My fox is trying to warn dillan, but the man throws me into the back of his truck face down and restricts my arms and throws a pillowcase over my head.  Where is this man taking me? I've learned to not struggle. I've had my cheek bone broken that way before. It's better to either earn trust, make a break for it when they aren't looking, or take them down when they least expect it.  ---- Dillans p.o.v My fox is panicking. I pull up to fawn's house and her truck is outside. Her porch light is on. I keep knocking, but no one is home. I call Walter, but he tells me the party they were just at he had to break up. I started calling her. I can hear it vibrating? I'm looking around and I catch her scent and I find her phone about 25ft away from her house on the trail. I can smell someone else. My fox is so angry it picks up the scent and I'm in my truck chasing them down before I know it. Her screen is cracked. My thumb runs across it when I think about her. I wonder who the f**k has her, if shes even okay? If i can even reach her in time. I'm speeding down the freeway and I'm calling walter.     "I think someone took her," i add     "I'll call Lillian this isn't the first time for them, she'll know how.to help," he hangs up and I get a call from an unknown number, most likely lillian,     "Do you have her scent?" She asks I was right, it's her calling. She walks me through the steps and what she's had to do to get her back. I'm surprised at how used to this she is.      "How many times has fawn been taken?" I ask     "Two," she says After she is done telling me everything I hang up and call Walter again. He's 10 miles behind me. He is bringing all the males in our pack and they are all driving down the freeway to catch up with me. --- Fawns p.o.v We finally came to a stop. While I've been sitting in this truck I've been trying to figure out as many details as possible about this guy. I haven't figured out much. He pulls me out of the back and makes me follow him since he still has the pillow case on my head. I can smell foxes. Everywhere. This must be someone's pack. I'm shoved to my knees and the sack is ripped off of me. I look up to a man. Older than dillan by far, dillan is 23 and this guy has to be at least in his 30's. He smells rotten and it disgusts me.       "You've finally brought her to me," he says to his friend. They all have almost jet black hair and their eyes. No souls that I could find.       "Come to me my mate," he waves at me Even if I wanted to, which I obviously don't, I can't because my hands are still bound. Also, mate? The thought makes me and my fox sick.      He grabs my shirt collar and lifts me up, "did you hear me b***h?" He growls. His breath stinks. I spit in his face,     "I'm not your mate asshole, even if I was I'd reject you. You disgust me," I growl back He throws me back down. Causing my knees to skin against the gravel.      "What should we do with her?" One guy asks. I see no women here.      "If she can behave she may stay in my residence," he says walking up to me. I decide I'd rather get beaten then stay with him so I bite his leg,     He screeches "never mind! Take this w***e and throw her with the rest of them!"      "Yes tristan!" The guy says and he has to drag me away as I kick at him the whole way to the whine cellar in their large hunting lodge.  It's dark and I don't see much when they cut my hand ties and throw me in my cell. After a while though my eyes adjust to the dark. I found the females. They're all hiding. Torn clothes. Some are so young… my cell is empty, but I can talk to anyone through the bars.     "Hello?" I call out A few women are startled by my voice and they run to their cell doors.     "A few face!" "A new voice!" "Help us!" They call out, but then a woman about 34ish walks up and hushes them.      "We do not want to praise the imprisonment of another, we hope to be free, we shouldnt be excited to see someone else here," she says calmly. They nod and apologize,      "What is your name?" The woman asks      "Fawn? Yours?" I ask      "I've never known. When I was young I did, but I've been here in the dark for so long I have forgotten who I am. For I was only eight when I was brought here with my mother… she passed a long time ago, taking the memory of my name with her," I almost cry hearing her words     "E-Eight?" I shudder "and what do… they… do down here?" I ask     "As they please," she motions to the cell that's empty with only a sheet on the floor. Oh my God, I feel so sick. I have to get everyone out of here. I then notice allot of the younger girls are pregnant,      "Do they ever let you out?" I ask     "To birth our new families," she answers     "So males stay up there… and girls…?" I don't want to ask     "They come to us at the age of 3," she admits. I actually stop. I'm so sick. These poor girls. I slouch in the corner and empty the contents of my stomach for a moment. Now I see. Young girls are in one cell... Teens in another… older ladies, this woman being the oldest, in the last cell. Then there's my cell…. And then there's the… well… 5th cell… I shutter. --- It's been 2 days and I'm still here. I've seen a lot that I haven't wanted to. Their alpha is leaving me here so I can see this. All of a sudden there's a bright light and I hear dillan,      "Fawn?! Are you down here?!" He calls out      "Dillan! I'm here!" I try shouting out over all the girls yelling to help them. I see Walter burst in and rip my cell door open. He picks me up and starts to carry me out,      "No, stop! They need help!" I try fighting out of his arms. I can't leave those girls now that I know what's happened. He sets me down and I start to sprint back to the cellars when dillan catches me,      "It's okay they're free to," he says "are you alright?" He asks I nod yes and throw my arms around him. I'm so happy I didn't stay here long enough for the alpha to take me to that cell. I shutter at the thought.       "It's okay," he held me tighter and carried me to his truck. "Did anyone touch you?" He asks. I nod no and he sighs in relief. --- Dillans p.o.v We've got the whole place surrounded. Walter has finally given the go ahead to head in. I fought about it with him. Fawn could be hurt in there. I can't take another minute of waiting. We storm the main lodge and Walter and I head upstairs to the alpha while everyone else fights his pack. We are so much stronger and we have more people as well. I break down the door and the nasty alpha is there. He has a female bent over his desk and he tosses her to the side when he sees us and zips his pants up.      "Here for your b***h?" He snickers The girl tries to crawl away that he was just with, but she's in so much pain she's bleeding. Walter grabs a pack member and tells him to help her. He lifts her up and takes her out of the office.       "You better not have touched her," I growl      "She isn't that good," he smirks I let my fox take control and I shift. I can finally feel my alpha status as if Walter just passed it on to me. I feel stronger than ever. I jump on the dirty son of a b***h and rip his throat out. It takes a minute to calm down and I shift back. I leave the alphas old mangled body in his office and head down to the cellar. I can smell fawn near. I follow Walter since he got the keys and we head down stairs to the basement that turns out to be an old whine cellar. We open the door and women cry out for help.      "Fawn? Are you down here?" I call out I can hear her shouting for me. I head in, but am too crowded by pack members opening cells and freeing various foxes. I run out and catch fawn before she runs back in. I reassure her everyone is alright and I carry her back to my truck. She hasn't loosened her grip on me since she found me.      "Did anyone touch you?" I ask She nods no, thank God.      "Where's the little girl?" She starts to ask     "Which little girl?" I ask     "The 11 year old. The little girl the alpha came in and violently abused until she couldn't walk," she starts panicking. What did she see down there? She gets up and starts pushing past pack members and women and I follow until we reach the cells and she enters one. The little girl is laying there. She's cold. Not gone yet though. I scoop her up and we run back to my truck and start racing back home. Fawn starts to call dr. Willams. The girl becomes more conscious under my coat and with the help of the heat of the truck. I put my water bottle back in case she wakes up enough to find it. --- Fawns p.o.v I'm telling dr. Williams everything I saw happened to her as Dillan raced down the freeway. I keep turning to check on her. She's breathing at least.
