Damnon I sat on the plane with my seat belt on as it landed in Manhattan. It had been a long since I was last here. Dad had sermoned me after a long time but I wasn't going to face him yet. It's been a century already and I wasn't planning on seeing him sooner. After mum's death, I just couldn't stay home anymore because dad changed drastically and I wasn't going to stay and clean up his mess he was old enough. I moved out of the airport and called for a taxi. Since I was back home I might as well go check out the places I loved staying in. " Take me to the cellar," I told the taxi driver after I made myself comfortable in the back seat " Sure thing. How was your flight?" He asked. I always found the whole chatty character of taxi drivers annoying, it always gave me a hint of irritation. " Just shut up and drive, I need the silence," I told him and closed my eyes to get a bit of rest. Thank goodness he didn't insist on talking otherwise I wouldn't mind threatening. After 20 minutes, the driver pulled up in front of the club. It had improved from the last time I was here. " We are here" the driver announced. I didn't say anything. I just pulled out whatever money I had in my back pocket and paid him. I then got up with my small suitcase and ducked out of the car. " Sir, your change" the driver called " Keep it," I said without looking back at him and entered through the double doors of my favorite building. The cellar. I missed it. So badly. The place had lost my scent and I didn't like it. This was the ground floor of the cellar. it had immediate stairs to the club which most people would choose. I looked to the left side which had a beautiful restaurant that was filled with the rich. The receptionist of the restaurant was gawking at me but I wasn't moved at all. I just acted as if I didn't see her and climbed the grand stairs to the club I once owned. And I plan on owning it again. I reached the entrance and a well-built man was standing there looking intimidating to anyone but me. " I want to talk to the owner of the bar," I told him. The man looked at me as I was spitting out s**t. I smirked at him when he ignored me. Humans can mean to be annoying. I thought to me " I will give you one more chance. Take me to your boss" I said sounding a little serious this time but the pathetic human didn't seem intimidated by me. " Look, p*****t! if you want to enter and enjoy your self then do so, but to meet the boss, you have got to scram boy!" The man had guts. I have been gone too long, I think my effect on the people of Manhattan had dropped much more than I had expected. I had to fix this! " You don't know me to do you?" I fired the big man and glared at him. He looked shaken Abit but he didn't give in yet. I like him. I should keep him when I finally get to own this place once again. " Alright I will get in and enjoy myself" and get to the boss of this place. I kept the last part to myself to avoid any more back and forth with this guy. I didn't want to enter this place but I didn't have a choice now did I? I didn't want to make an appearance yet but since that guard could not make me an appointment outside, I could just make an appointment for myself inside instead. Easy right? I knew the owner of the building was in the club today and since I couldn't wait till tomorrow to own the building, I could as well visit him. By the end of tonight, the cellar will be mine again. " Mr. Zarke, nice to meet you" I made my small epic entrance to the owner's private booth. Ouch, the guy had company. Not my problem. " Arrg," the man groaned, clearly displeased by my rude invention " who the hell let you in here?." He asked more annoyed. " I let myself in...." I mean duh. "Now if don't mind I want this place and I can buy it from you at a real fair price" I started to negotiate with my calm, charming voice. Completely ignored the half-n***d ladies and the weird position I had caught the trio in. " Ladies would you please excuse us." He gently smiled at the ladies and they all walked out throwing me looks that didn't move me. " Damnon" he sneered " Zarke.." I sneered back. " You're finally back in town," he smiled briefly at me and rose from the long curved couch, and organized up himself. " I didn't miss you a bit," he said and gave me a brief discerning look. Sorry for not telling you earlier, but Zarke and I are more like friends with benefits. Well benefits of business, strictly business. He had been the one taking care of my property while I was gone and now that am back. I get to get it all back on a silver platter. Sweet right? " Neither did I....., here" I dropped the briefcase on the table " this is a thank you package, " I said and fell softly on the booth couch. So not comfortable for my liking. I saw Zarke's lips curve into a smile after checking what was in the case and closing it. " See ya," he said and started to walk out " Say 'hey' to Mrs. Zarke for me," I told his disappearing silhouette and he just waved his hand as he walked out of the booth, through the crowd, and out of my life for the time being. Now I got to fix this place. To more of me......and less of Zarke.
