Damnon Once I arrived at the bar, Marcus, the manager came toward my direction looking worked up. Or disappointed to be specific. Marcus was the one guy I was close to so far at the bar. The rest are work in progress. " Is something wrong?" I asked the man. He took a seat by the bar whining like a child. " I wonder how today will be, it's already noon and these guys can't grasp the silly dance moves" he whined. " Hey Trip could you pour me a glass of bourbon?" He asked the curly haired guy who was behind the bar. " Dude?" I cautioned him and gave him a stunt look. " Don't worry I will pay for it. What you should be worrying about is those guys dancing like they have rabies" I chuckled at that. Trip put Marcus's glass infront of him and he paid to show me he meant to pay. " Don't stress, am sure by tonight they will be fine." I consoled the man but he didn't seem convinced. " Tell you what, you could go with them just to make sure they get it right" I advised " Nah,the entertainment is for some lady having a yacht party and I hate the water. the guys haven't learnt the dance moves well. Its going to be a disaster." " Well then if you would please excuse me, I need a good sleep." I told him as I started for the small flight of stairs to my room. " So tonight you are going to be up partying?" He asked with a grin " Nope, tonight am going to the yacht party. am going to be with those guys to make sure they dance well. So you shouldn't stress. " I grinned back " plus I love the wind" I told him. He just smiled at me as I walked away. I took off my shirt, pants and shoes then got into bed, With my boxers alone. It was hot perhaps. As I closed my eyes to sleep, I saw her smile. I unconsciously smiled as I pictured Liv in my head. I slept well. -------- Liv Later that evening, Tania walked in through the door with a blonde by her side. She had brown eyes and cherry lips. Tania looked alot better than this morning. I was watching some TV when they walked in. I saw Tania huff when she got sight of me . That wasn't nice of her. " Hey" the blonde greeted me with a bright smile. Her dimples showed. " Hai" I replied giving her back a similar smile. It wasn't fake this time. " Hey! Don't talk to her" Tania scolded the blond lady. " What? your jealous?" I grinned at her. I know she had a bad day but I wouldn't let her do that. " Don't push it Liv" she fired. She started looking like this morning. " You know am just going to be there as the CEO, temporarily. You don't have to whine about it." I told her. " Just shut up! I was meant to be the CEO of beauty temporary or permanent, am the daughter of this family" she said in a matter-of-fact voice. "Tania, I really do not care at all about this whole 'being a CEO thing.' If you want it so bad I can give it to you. But that's not up to me" I shrugged. " Don't pretend to be nice to me, b***h" she thought I was just mocking her. " Am not pretending, and am not being nice. If it were up to me I would willing give you the position. I don't want it. If I were you, I wouldn't be whining and blaming others for something they didn't do." She was getting on my nerves and I wasn't going to let her. " Don't act all innocent" she scoffed " Tania, stop. You acting like a child" her friend told her in a calm voice. " Yvonne are you on my side or hers?" Tania was frowning when she asked her friend. " No one is talking about sides here Tania" Yvonne corrected her. " Really?" She questioned her friend. " You know what, am leaving" Yvonne seemed to have had enough. She turned to leave. " no" Tania stopped her. " Please, am sorry. Let's just go my room. And be far from her. " it was the first time since I stepped into this house that I saw Tania act nice. " Oh right!" Yvonne panicked " I almost forgot!" She cried. " What?" Tania asked worried. I just watched how Tania seemed so different towards this blonde. I wonder why she hated me so much. Oh! Right, I married her old dad. " It's Lesli yacht party tonight, I have to get home now and prepare" she replied Tania. Party? I wanted to go too. " Can I come?" I asked, interfering their conversation. Tania wasn't pleased. I could see her emotions switch swiftly when she heard my voice. " No you aren't going anywhere." Tania assured me. " I wasn't asking you" I told her. She wasn't the boss if me. I was literally her mum and boss now. " Either way, you are not coming" she insisted. I looked at her friend instead and gave her the please eyes. I really wanted to do something with myself. since I stepped into this house, I have always been a seating log waiting for Tania to tell me what to do for the day, except for last night of course. " Tania don't be mean" blonde said to Tania " What's your name?" She asked me. " Liv Williams" I told her. I added the Williams to make Tania feel bad and it worked. She scoffed as she rolled her eyes. " I will tell Lesli you will be joining the yacht party." Yvonne shot up excited. " Alright bye now, and Liv make sure Tania joins, she is a mess. Basically because of you." Yvonne added in a loud whisper. Tania shot her a fierce look which she ignored and walked out. " You know, Yvonne is my best friend. Don't steal her too like you did with my job." Tania told me once she was sure that Yvonne was gone, far. " First it wasn't your job. Second, I feel sad for Yvonne really. I wonder how she feels about you being her best friend." I intentionally wanted to annoy Tania. " You!" " Ladies?" Sabastian walked in on us. Great.
