The trip to the city was just what my sisters and I needed. Luckily the only women who came along were Mrs. Russo and Maria. The Boleyn sisters stayed back at home. They were probably plotting their next little stunt.
Maria Russo is a beautiful, shy eighteen years old. She has a kind soul underneath her mafia princess appearance. I can tell she has been overly sheltered. Being the only girl and the baby in the family, she has been financially spoiled but wholly caged. She seemed like a snob at first, not talking to us. But when one of our favorite songs came on, my sisters and I began to sing along with gusto. That broke the tension, and Maria relaxed and began to talk to us. Her shyness can give off a b***h façade, but she is nothing like that.
