Derek had just had a small showdown with his aunt, effectively shutting her up and Cassie couldn't have been more thankful. The anger at not being able to be at his apartment had still not subsided. His aunt's behaviour and the longing to see Arya was now messing with his brain, making him snap at anything and everything. He was currently with Cassie and his nephew when his phone rang. His impulse was to disconnect the call but when he looked at who was calling and the time right now, he knew it had to be something important.
"Hey, Derek."
"Mark, is everything okay?"
"On the work front? Absolutely! But that's not what I called you for."
"Okay... What is it then?"
"I know you are busy, wherever you are, but I hope you are taking some time out to talk to Arya daily?"
