Fired

Escape!

Sam woke up and found himself bound in his chair. The last thing he remembered was going to Mr. Ronald for help and being hit by him after explaining his problem . He looked around and saw blue lights everywhere and found himself in a circular room.

"Where am I?!", Sam shouted ,looking at a camera on the left wall.

The door opened and Ronald came inside.

"Well well well....look at you Sam.....you have grown up so much.....and you have learnt an art..... I promise to let you go back to our normal life ...only if you tell me how to do that",said Ronald , sitting down.

"What are you talking about Dr. Ronald?"

"Oh well....you don't know, the problem you were facing ....is actually a gift...a power....from an unknown source...but worry not ,I am going to test you and experiment it on you and get as much info I can get about time travelling from your body....You can actually will yourself to change time or reverse it . It is indeed incredible. Once you learn to control them, you will become unstoppable.... But right now you can't go back in time as much as you try because I have put power-dampening cuffs in your hands,so all you need to do is to co-operate with me."

"Go to hell! I came to you for help and you betrayed me! Co-operating with you? Huh? Co-operating? My shoes!"

Ronald seemed very amused by Sam's behavior but still managed to smile and look at him and say," You will..."

Sam couldn't process this thing in his mind....

"That's impossible, that's impossible. He has gone insane", Sam kept thinking.

Sam tried to reverse time again but it didnot happen, due to whatever cuffs Ronald had put on his hands.

Ronald got up and left , talking to himself.

Sam smiled to himself and tried to reach his left pant pocket.

"That's why I always have some backups",he said and continued to reach his pocket with some difficulty.

After what had happened to his father and Marie. Sam knew that someday or the other that would happen to Sam too...he would be imprisoned too....he knew his fake identity wouldn't last long enough so he always carried some protective devices with him that would help him in any sticky situation if he ever got into one, and those protections included pepper spray too . 

Sam reached his pocket and took out a booby pin and did some twisting and turning and his cuffs were off. He wiggled and after a couple of minutes the ropes were off .

He knew that only after a few seconds Ronald will notice that Sam was missing and he couldn't escape from him forever and his father and sister was in his care. He was left with no option but to change time. 

And that's when the door opened and Ronald entered with a test tube and an injection in one hand and a knife in another, to cut his ropes and inject him with something.

"Oh boy ! No you are not escaping",said Ronald half - shocked and half- amused.", And without a second thought he dropped the injection and the test tube, and he threw his knife , straight at his shoulder 

Sam was alert and ready to reverse this time. And he closed his eyes and concentrated on the part where he reached his own office before he went to Ronald's. And a yellow flash came by and something came by piercing his left shoulder and the yellow flash disappeared. Sam was fainting and as he hit the ground with a knife sticking out of his shoulder ,he hit his own office's floor and sighed , he succeed atlast but he had to present an answer about this wound and discover more about his " powers"
