Fated Moon

It seemed strange that when we awoke, I didn't get summoned by the Alpha, or Heaven for that matter. Here lately she was all over me, wanting to be apart of naming mine and Remy's son. I stretched, looking at the comfortable male beside him. 'Hes so amazing' my wolf purred happily, I rubbed my large belly, smiling happily before waking him up. I got dressed, wearing a lose sweater and leggings. The air seemed off today, it couldn't just be because of the fact a Lycan was coming today.

I felt nervous, but I couldn't explain why. My fingers unconsciously went to the mate mark on my neck, my eyes fluttered closed as a shiver raced up my spine. No, I told myself, Remy is our mate not...him. The thought of him towering over me, kissing me, feeling all the sparks and wonders of the mate bond...I shook that out of head, feeling dirty now as I made my way downstairs for breakfast. Everyone was acting normal, but I could sense something was off; especially since Cole and Heaven were nowhere to be found. Grabbing a muffin and some orange juice I sipped away, munching slowly as I smelt Remy finally gracing everyone with his presence. "Good morning." I smiled to him, earning a kiss to my forehead. 

An Omega carefully approached us, I looked at her. Pure sorrow in her eyes, "Beta Devika, Beta Remy...you are being summoned to the clearing. The Lycan Alpha will be here soon." She bowed before tears spilled over her cheeks. I gently rubbed her arm before making my way outside, standing tall with Remy beside me. As we entered the clearing I noticed one long chain and a collar staked to the middle, the scent of silver hitting my nose; making me want to puke. Were they waiting to bring the culprit out once the Lycan Alpha got here? I felt Heaven hug me tightly, rubbing my stomach and smiling. I hugged her back, what the heck was going on here?

A pain stung my heart, could it be my parents that were killing all of the prey off, I smelt them but I couldn't see them anywhere. "Heaven whats going on?" I asked, but before she could answer I heard a loud snarl; it sent shivers up my spine. The very tone causing my body to get hot and needy; he was here. 

Out of the trees stepped a large Lycan, his fur black and white. The same one from that night, his long fangs and red eyes looking me up and down. Stopping at my very apparent pregnant belly; I saw pure anger in his eyes, I could feel the anger seeping through the Mate Bond, especially when Remy wrapped his arm protectively around my waist. 

The Alpha cleared his throat, causing everyone to bow. "As most of you know, both werewolves and Lycans have been feeling the affects of prey going missing, as well as humans livestock being slaughtered. After months of searching, we finally found the culprit." His voice deep and guttural. I could listen to it for hours. His clawed hand opened to his left side as my parents walked out, they stood tall but looked defeated. The mossy smell of Rogue filling the air around us.

I felt a growl rake through me as the Lycan's eyes locked into mine. Suddenly, I felt claws digging into my shoulders, Remy being forced down beside me. "We originally thought Rogues, as anyone would. However, upon multiple interrogations, we discovered a traitor amongst the pack." My heart stopped as they pulled Remy to the collar, latching it around his neck. The Lycan alpha shifted human, two bloodthirsty wolves behind him. 

Ferals.

They were Lycan omegas that were never allowed to shift human, they usually become the guard dogs, or the ones to deal the punishment, when the punishment is death. I felt tears falling down my cheeks, as I looked at a defeated Remy. The Lycan alpha walked up behind me, entwining his hand in my hair, the other two letting me go. He forced my head up; making me watch Remy. "Do NOT close your eyes." He ordered, his aura was suffocating me. He spoke again, his words made my blood run cold. "Upon further inspection, we found out Devika had been cast down from her spot as Gamma when her parents were forced from the pack. The story was they challenged the alpha; however they were caught trying to murder the now current Alpha Cole; before he was to become Alpha. Making her an Omega, as who would cast a child who didn't know better from a pack to live the life of a rogue."  Gasps escaped from the pack. Cole and Heaven's cold gaze was on Remy and I. "As we interrogated more and more rogues, they all lead back to one thing. A wolf in the pack was leaving hints about patrols, as well as where the prey would be. They stated, it was like the prey was herded to them, it was a free for all feast. Killing to kill, stockpile if you will." He cleared his throat. "The traitor is your own beta, Devika." He declared. 

My eyes widened, looking at my parents as a snarl ripped through me. "You traitor scum!" I yelled at them, they looked down in shame. Everything I had done for them, they were to take the blame if we ever got discovered, yet here they are. Doing the opposite, "You are weak, always have been." I growled again at them, Remy caught the hint shifting under the collar. I knew it had to hurt, but he started fighting, trying to kill everyone in his reach. 

A cruel smile appeared on the Lycan's face, "Devika. Today you will face the consequences to your crimes. Death would be too easy. Instead, we will be k***ing your husband infront of you, and casting you down to Omega, of my pack." My ears rang at his words. No, no I couldn't be an omega to the Lycan pack. It was worse than being a rogue, or even an omega for my pack. The Lycan's hated the omegas, to them they were literal rugs to step on; food if prey was too scarce.  Then it happened, the two feral were let lose, ripping Remy apart right infront of me. My world came crashing down, I couldn't do anything but scream for him and cry. Everything hurt, my soul shook. My wolf howled in pain as she lost the one point of contact she held. 

"Alpha Cole, Luna Heaven. I assume you can handle finding a replacement?" his voice was like venom in my ears. "Yes Alpha Dimitri." They bowed. He lifted me up by my hair, grinning in my face. "You are mine Devika, I marked you. I own you." He purred in my arms. I felt a sudden surge of strength in me. "F**k you." I snarled, shifting in his hand as I clawed his face; earning a loud snarl before I bolted as fast as my paws could take me. My wolf begging me to go back, her mate wanted her and I just hurt him. She was pissed.

My wolf was pleading with me to run, to get out of here. I could feel his red eyes on me, stalking me as if I was his prey. In a way I was, I was a useless Omega who just dared to challenge the Alpha, not just any Alpha either...the lycan Alpha. 

Dimitri Barron.

Just his name was enough to send shivers up my spine. He was a man made by the Goddess herself. A strong jaw, tall nearly 6'2. A wall of brawly muscle, and the worse temper you could ever imagine. He was an ass to anyone who wasn't a high ranking wolf or lycan, and forget it if you were a woman. But Goddess was he yummy looking...

I needed to run, but my wolf wasn't talking to me; she was hurt and sad. I ruined her meeting her mate, I didn't want a ruthless killing machine for a mate. I hated the though of even being with a man after Remy...I shook the thoughts out of my head as my feet carried me across the mossy forest floor. I could hear my pack howling for me, he'd sent them to hunt me down. 

What a coward.

I felt something grab my ankle, pulling me down to the ground with a hard thud. I couldn't breath, my lungs burning. Why me? Why me and my big mouth? A large paw pressed against my chest, hot breath against my face.  The smell of lavender and honey filling my nose. 

Mate.

No. I wouldn't accept him, I wanted to reject him; but I couldn't form words. I was hoping my child was ok, I snapped at his face. Suddenly being forced to shift back into my human form; I really felt the weight on my chest. I dug my nails into his arm, growling and trying to get free. His red eyes bore into me, his aura soon making me still as I felt my world becoming cloudy His words rang heavy in my eyes. 

"Defy me again, and I will make your life hell pup.."
