Ch - 7: Already Found Her Partner

~Eleanor~ “This is Royal Deluxe. It is the first restaurant founded by Alpha Nathaniel,” Jenna said, pointing to the massive building in front of us. We had arrived at a parking lot full of various types and colors of cars, and the car had come to a halt in an area where no other cars could be seen. Jenna had mentioned that it was Alpha Nathaniel's private parking lot. “It is huge,” I said, and she nodded. “Over the years, it has expanded and acquired several other chains. Twilight Casino, located beneath this building, is regarded as one of London's most prosperous casinos.” She pointed to a shabby-looking door that appeared to be the entrance to an abandoned warehouse. Sneering, she pointed to the top building and continued her speech, “Above this floor is the game arcade, which is mostly described as a gambling center for the less fortunate who cannot afford the membership fee for the underground casino. The majority of the visitors to that location are rule breakers.” “Wow, Isn't A game Arcade a place filled with different games and entertainment?” I asked to confirm my guess, and she nodded. “Indeed!” Jenna affirmed as she gestured for me to follow her. Since that is the case, I would like to visit that place. I have to make the most of my time. The setting is simply stunning. Although strange at times, I can not help but be captivated by its beauty. It led me to wonder if the Moon Goddess is truly just and fair. Leaving our Moonshadow to wrack away in the bushes and giving Twilight Pack such a lovely place to call home. I doubt any of those wolves will believe there is such a beautiful place on Earth with such serene views. When I thought about how cruel they had been to me, I could understand their unfortunate fate. “Shall we go in now?” Jenna asked. Her voice awakened me from my trance. I turned to her and nodded, “Okay, let us go.” **** The hall was spacious. The front part of the wall was see-through. I suppose they were made of glass. Expensive chairs were arranged around multiple round tables. The walls behind were made of red bricks, which were visible because they were not painted. “What do you call this light glass in English?” I asked Jenna, pointing to the larger version of the glass light that hung from the room's ceiling. “Oh, it is called a chandelier. That particular one is valued at hundreds of millions of pounds sterling. Made with original gold, platinum, and diamonds.” “It's so expensive!!” “That is correct, Miss Eleanor. Should we head to the private room?” “Sure!!” **** We left the room just as I had finished eating. Jenna refused to take a bite of the food, no matter how many times I asked her. Although it was uncomfortable to eat while being watched by others, I could only bear it until I finished. Those dishes were damn good! f**k, I would definitely come back here for more food if given the chance. “Should we check out the arcade?” I asked. Jenna looked down at a device in her hand and said, “It is two minutes past eight. We only have twenty minutes.” “Okay! What's that?” I asked, pointing to her wrist. “It is a wristwatch. To keep track of time.” Jenna responded. I nodded in understanding and gently patted my round tummy as we headed to the elevator. “Hey pretty, you have such smooth skin.” A burly guy who wrecked alcohol leered as he staggered to keep his posture. I cast a cold look at him. With each passing second, my expression became uglier. This man should be around 35 years old, with a wife and children, but here he is, drunk and wasted. “Beautiful, come hug daddy!” I nearly passed out as drool gushed from his mouth. How did I end up in the same elevator with him? I turned away from him and fixed my gaze on the wall, waiting for us to arrive as soon as possible. “Baby, come to Dandy,” he reached out for my arm. I was about to block it off, but Jenna was faster than me. She tackled him against the elevator wall. There were five, including Jenna, me, a middle-aged woman, and two drunk men, one of whom had fallen asleep against the wall. “Beauty…” he could not finish his words before she grabbed his throat, choking his soul out of his body. “Do not kill him!” I reminded Jenna seeing she wasn't letting go and his face was as red as a cooked shrimp. He is a human, and Jenna's suffocation will kill him. “You will get in trouble if you kill someone. Remember the Holy Tribulation? Seven holy thunders will strike you to death!” Jenna immediately let go of the man and he coughed hard. “Try this again, b***h, and I will cut off your d**k for life.” She snickered and spat at him. Just then, the elevator ding opened. Jenna followed suit as I stepped outside. The middle-aged lady and two men remained behind. “Holy tribulation does not exist in Twilight Pack. It is simply an Orthodox lie that you all believe. Trust me, if Alpha Nathaniel finds out what he did, his crimes will be punished with death!” My eyebrows immediately rose in surprise. Does this mean they could kill anyone if they wanted? Damn! What a lawless pack. Jenna turned to give me a knowing look and continued, “Although there is not anything like holy tribulation, kill someone and you will beg for it when Alpha Nathaniel takes you into his dark room.” A sinister smile appeared on her lips for a few seconds before disappearing. “I am going to wash these germs off me. Please wait for me here.” Jenna quickly disappeared into the crowd, leaving me standing alone. I looked around the crowded area. There were no games in this section that piqued my interest. I looked around until my gaze fell on a doll pick section. I approach the machine and look through the see-through glass. “Are you interested in playing?” a deep masculine voice inquired. I looked up, surprised to see a tall handsome dude about a year older than me standing and staring down at me. “You do not appear to have been marked! Are you still looking for your mate, just like me?” His question caught me off guard. I did not realize Victor's mark had already faded. “Oops! I am not here to find a mate, but to have fun.” I responded. His intense gaze made me feel awkward. “Are you teasing me? How do you expect me to believe that an unmarked, stunning beauty like yourself is unconcerned about finding her mate? Aren't you afraid of being alone?” “No, she isn't, because she has already found her partner!” I spun around to see him standing there with Jenna at his side. He was tall and overbearing as usual.
