The long lost moon princess

Chapter Two

Mia POV

My alarm clock was ringing so loudly today. The loud annoying noise was irritating me so I reached over and threw it at the wall and it shattered against the wall. I lauged a little, " I forgot how strong I am i'm glad i didn't throw the thing through the wall" .

Almost immediately after I did that Damon came rushing in and basically threw himself on me and growled loudly and glanced all around the room looking for an intruder. His gaze fell onto me and i could see the anger in his eyes, " You threw a f*****g alarm clock at a wall!

Do you know how worried I was I thought someone was trying to kidnap you! He exclaimed and picked me up bridal style and stormed out of the room heading back to his bedroom. "You scared me Mia..." he sighed as he laid me on his bed gently and he sat on the edge of it.

He caressed my face and placed a soft kiss on my lips. Then he pulled away, " I'm sorry I acted like that I was just worried someone was trying to take you again". I smiled at him and he leant forwards to give me another kiss before standing up and pulling the covers over me and taking my hand " Sleep well baby", he whispered before leaning down and kissing my forehead.

I closed my eyes and drifted off into sleep thinking about Damon as always.

When I wake up the sunlight is streaming through the windows. I turn over and notice Damon is asleep and smile and kissed his forehead.

I sat up and stretched my arms and legs and went to my room and got dressed in my normal outfit of grey sweatpants and a plain black shirt. I walk downstairs and start heading towards the field where most of our warriors train.

Damon would have a heart attack if he knew i was going there but i have a right to train just like everyone else. Just because im the daughter of the king doesn't mean i'm useless, which is how some of these snobbish blue bloods make me feel just because im adopted. I walk over to one of the warriors and ask to spare.

Few hours later and I'm sweaty and tired I've been training almost all afternoon and Damon has been watching me intently from aross the field. I throw a punch at my opponent and suddenly Damon is in front of me and he grabs my hips and pulls me into his chest and i blush and try to push him away.

He's holding me so tight and looks as though he wants to kill whoever touched me. " Let go of her Damon" one of the warriors said, I think his name is james I'm not sure though i'm not good with names. Damon looks at him and smirks and lets go of me.

" I told you she isn't supposed to be sparing with amy males" he said and glances at james and looks at me and wraps his arms around my waist. He looked at james and smiled darkly, kind of freaked me out." I wasn't aware I needed your permission to touch my mate" he says sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes and pushed Damon's arm away and said," Damon stop acting like a d**k". I walked over to amy and sat down beside her and we watched as they started sparring.

She smiled at me and we talked for awhile about nothing in particular. " So I hear the queen has been having trouble lately with the blood moon.pack". I nodded and replied " Yes they are a bit difficult. They're also being very disrespectful and rude."

"I'm surprised Damon hasn't intervened yet" amy said looking at Damon. I nodded ans looked at him and as if he could feel my stare he looked over at me and winked. I shook my head and got back to our conversation " yeah he just has a lot going on right now".

She nodded not really listening anymore. I looked at her and she looked distracted so i let it slide. A few hours passed and the sun was starting to set. I heard the sound of footsteps and soon enough Damon arrived and sat down next to me.

"Hey Damon" amy said and waved to him Damon nodded in acknowledgment and looked over to me. " Hey love" he whispered in my ear making me shiver, he stared at me intently and bit his lip I looked at him curiously " what is it?"

He chuckled and leaned towards me and whispered:" just enjoying this moment with my lovely mate". Amy smiled and got up and left. I rolled my eyes and asked Damon " what was that about?" He shrugged and said " I dont know she's weird".

I nodded and stood up and we headed out of the woods and towards the pack house and started talking about random things when we get inside Damon stops and hugs me tightly, " What are you doing? I said laughing.

" It just feels nice being with you" he whispered in my ear and I smiled and replied " Yeah". After awhile we decided to go to bed because we were both tired as hell. We lay in bed holding hands and staring at eachother, " Damon?" He hummed in reply.

" What are we going to do now?" I looked at him " Im not sure" he looked troubled and looked away I got on top of him and made him look at me " Are you okay? Is something troubling you?" Damon shook his head " No its fine everything is fine". He paused for a minute " But Mia....the blood moon..its coming soon".

I panicked and sat back and looked at him "But they cant they want me dead well everyone besides the alpha's son, he wants me as his mate". He growled so loud the windows shook and he sat up and wrapped his arms around me tightly.

"what are we going to do?" " well... i am gonna mark you so everyone knows you belong to me" he basically growled. I was scared and terrified of whay would happen next. I just nodded my head and we stared at eachother.

" Now you listen to me....I will never leave you" Damon said glaring at me, i nodded and he pulled me close once again " I promise that i won't leave you" he repeated and placed a kiss on my head " I know. And that's all that matters" I whispered as tears threatened to fall.

" I hate seeing you upset, i don't want you worrying" he said pulling me tighter against him." I'm sorry for being so emotional" I sniffle. " Its alright babe. Everything will work out, you'll see.

I promise" he rubbed reassuring circles on my back. " Now let's go to sleep" he said softly and kissed me on the cheek. We cuddled together, and before i drift off i looked at Damon and mumbled," I love you" and drifted off to sleep.
