"Where are you going Ed?" Jovan stood up and placed a hand on his friend's shoulder. He could see something urgent in his expression.
"I need to speak with Cindy. There are things I must know," Edwin said grabbing his keys and phone.
He realized it had been days since he had seen her in the office. She had simply vanished from her desk.
He glanced at her empty chair and sighed. There was a connection between her and his uncle Teguh. And the reason she had been absent was clearly related to those injuries Jovan had seen.
If only Jovan had told him sooner about the hospital visit. He could have asked her then. But the information had come too late.
