"Careful with that, it might be rigged," Vincent warned as Sofia reached for the handle of Luca's office safe. Sofia paused, her hand hovering inches from the cold metal. The office was dark, illuminated only by the city lights filtering through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Every shadow seemed to hold a potential threat. "You really think Luca would booby-trap his own safe?" she asked, glancing back at Vincent. He shrugged, eyes scanning the room. "In our world, you can never be too careful. Especially now."
