MARTIN'S POV After the dinner was finally a success, all the crying of the three made me uncomfortable. Even though Lacey thanked me, I couldn't cry; I had even tried, but my body simply refused the gesture, and no one cared much about that. The news of the night was not mine and not for me. With all three of us crying and the atmosphere so happy, staying after and talking more with Lacey would not be a good idea. Even though we had accepted the plan of visiting her parents, I wasn't sure we were okay with each other since we hadn't talked about it yet, so the best thing to do was to wait for another opportunity.
