LACEY'S POV
It was late afternoon. Helga and I were sitting in the kitchen drinking tea while Henry played beside us. We had finally finished all the housework, which gave us a good amount of free time. I was not so used to housework lasting so short a time. Life with Angus was hectic for me. He would come back so dirty that I often ended up doing his laundry twice a day. Without help, I had to manage to do most of the chores myself, which took all day. Every day was the same. Angus would go to work and I would be working at home. I had asked Helga if she did anything differently, but like me, her life was about doing the housework. Now living together, even with the addition of Martin, the work was not so heavy, so we finished early.
