MARTIN'S POV My heart soared when Lacey opened the door for me at Helga and Carl's house. I knew I would see her, but it would be the first time we would have more than five minutes together since my bathtub incident. My psychology was shaken so much that I had not yet thought about what to talk to her about or how I could apologize adequately.
