I was awakened when my doorbell rang. I grunt in irritation. Who could it possibly be? I slid out of bed and went to open the door. I yawned and slammed the door open, only to see Emily on the other side.
'Doesn't she have anything better to do today than come here?' I pondered. She stared at my confused expression and facepalmed.
"Don't you remember?" I shook my head, perplexed. What is she on about?
"What?" I asked, making her shake her head in disbelief.
"You called me yesterday to go dress shopping with you," my eyes widened. I completely forgot about it.
"Sorry, Emily, I forgot about it," I mumbled.
"Sure you did," she said as she entered my flat.
"Go and get ready," she said, making me pause in my stride when I remembered something.
