“Wake up Blake, it’s time to go home. Shift’s over.”
I groaned and slowly opened my eyes as I felt someone tapping my shoulders. I looked up and saw Javier who’s standing in front of my office desk. Itinaas ko ang kaliwa kong kamay at tsaka tinignan ang oras na nasa aking relo.
“Oh… it’s already five. I’m supposed to go home at four, why didn’t you wake me up?” Tanong ko kay Javi. He smiled at me at tsaka niya ginulo ang aking buhok.
“Notice how this place is now empty? Why should I wake you up when I’m scared to be alone?” He said and picked up the pieces of paper from underneath my desk. I yawned and stretched my arms and then looked at him.
