Elena pov She watched as Jackie left the room angrily. She was relieved that she had convinced him to remove the chains from her hands and legs. She glanced around the room and took a deep breath. The room was a small, dingy space with peeling paint and a single, barred window. She walked over to the window and glanced down. It wasn't a story building. It was just a normal duplex abandoned house. She could see the overgrown garden and the broken fence that surrounded the property. She looked out the window and thought maybe she could escape.
