The next morning, she opened her eyes groggy as she peeked through the curtains. She stretched her arms and yawned. After a few minutes of lying in bed, she tossed off the covers and got up. She headed to the bathroom for a shower.
She felt the water touch her skin softly. She took her time enjoying the warmth. After her shower, she got dressed in a comfortable outfit and then she left for downstairs.
She found Richard already dressed for work and sipping his coffee. “Hey, Good morning sweetheart,” he muttered while smiling at her. She poured herself a cup of coffee and replied, “Good morning, darling. You're leaving early today?”
He nodded and said, “Yes, I have a meeting. I was thinking of asking the driver to stop Ethan off at school, but…”
She smiled and inherited him.
