That got both of our attentions. My eyes are one dark and my wolf with yellow. We see nothing we smell nothing.
I drop the note so Emma can read it as I shift back. It’s my job to show Emma how to eat her kill. The spots that are the easiest and softest to get into it kill.
And so I nudge her forward for the first bite and I follow after.
I watch the shadows but I see nothing.
Once we had our fill we head to the house in question. It’s a 5 bedroom farm house with a square wrap around porch. It’s so pretty.
Everything looks amazing. Everything is cleaned and ready for us.
So I look at Emma
“Which room will you choose?”
She runs off and picks her room. While I start planning on buying and building a tiny house from that 40 footer. I need to look into cameras for this house too. Grocery store later.
Finding this house is a blessing. Emma has wanted her own room for so long.
Before I know it I have all my plans finalized for the 40 footer. But it’s supper time and I need to feed Emma.
“Emma it’s time for supper! Let’s go get that deer and see if we can find some wild leeks and dandelions.”
“Okay mom!” She shouts. I should go see what’s kept her so busy. I checked the house before I let her wonder. I made sure all windows were shut. I’m not to concerned.
I find her in the very top room playing with some dolls and admiring some dresses. They look new. They smell new. I’m slightly concerned but when I see nothing after I first searched the house and seeing nothing now. I don’t think too much on it.
Maybe the last people that stayed here had a little girl Emma’s size?
