Just a lame ass day at lame ass school. I walked towards my locker to my surprise Nia was not there.

"Hey... Um... L-Liam." I heard a soft voice say behind me.

I turned around to see Rose. I feel like she hates me still even though I apologized a million times or she's just dead scared of me, "Hey Rose."

"I was wondering if you've seen or talked to Nia since you've gotten back from North Carolina."

I closed my locker and faced her, "No. Why?"

"Well, when I went to go pick her up. Her parents said she didn't come home last night and she's not picking up her phone."

"Where exactly did she go last night?" I questioned. "She went on a date with Jake."

I tensed up when she mentioned 'date' and 'Jake' those two don't belong in the same sentence.

The bell started to ring, "If you see her please contact me." She yells already down the hall.

"Okay." I yell back not moving from the locker. Class can wait.

My phone buzzed. I took my phone out of my pocket and read the notification. Unknown number.

I clicked on it after I typed in my password. It was a video. I clicked on it.

"Look what we have here..." The guy taunted in the video, what the hell is this?

"Please stop!" I heard a female voice yell in the background. I stopped leaning on my locker once I saw Nia on the ground crying in pain. "What the f**k!" I shout still looking at the video.

My blood pressure was up. Nia was somewhere out there alone there so much going on already. I tried to keep my mind intact, not allowing my emotions to get the best of me but... She's mine.

Unknown - "If you want to find her she's in the woods near the gas station, I forgot which one so... find her yourself."

I clenched the phone making it crack a little bit I stopped once I saw blood come out of the palm of my hand from the glass.

I was about to dial Cole and Mason's number but, I stopped this isn't their s**t to deal with.

I walked towards Jake's classroom I didn't knock on the door I just opened it. Everyone snapped there head towards me, "Do you need something?" The teacher says.

I walked past him towards Jake I grabbed him by the collar and pulled him out of the classroom.

I banged him against the lockers the students started to peak there heads out of the classroom door.

"Where the f**k is she?!" I snapped he looked down, "Look at me when I'm f*****g talking to you!" I yelled and forcefully pulled his head up.

He was smiling, "The f**k you smiling at." I growled.

"Just how your exposing your weakness to literally everyone." He says still smiling.

"Liam you can't touch me I have connection they can make everyone you love disappear."

"I'm not scared of anyone!" I shouted banging him against the lockers again, he shoves me off of him, "She ain't my property it was a job from someone it was a win, win."

Job?

He fixed his collar, "I just decided to have some fun with her while I was on the job."

"Well... now we know what lights his fire. Should we report this to Ryder?"

"Yeah."

"Who the hell hired you Jake?"

"Can't tell you." He sings, he thinks this is some f*****g joke.

I was about to punch him when I was pulled back, I turned around to see a guy from the viper gang holding my arm back.

"Like I said you can't touch me."

I shoved the dude off of me, Cole head popped in the front of the crowd, "Liam, what in the hell is going on?" He questions.

I clenched my jaw together. "When I find her you're f*****g dead!!" I shouted slamming my fist against the locker.

"What are you talking about, Jake what is he talking about?" Cole says confused.

I pulled out my phone and showed him the video. "Holy shit."

"If shes not breathing I swear I would kill you, and I don't care if you're untouchable I will find a f*****g way to ruin you." I threatened and stormed off to my car.

I heard the teachers call after me I flipped them all off I started the car I was about to drive off before I heard a knock on the window.

I looked to my right to see Rose she had her book bag packed she looked nervous. I rolled down the window, "What do you want?" I say through gritted teeth.

"I'm coming with you to find Nia." She spoke, "And I'm not taking no for an answer."

"You know you're skipping right?"

"Yes I know but she is my best friend I have to go look for and besides you're skipping to." She blurts out.

I unlock the car door. "Get in."

She smiled and hopped in the front seat, "When we find her... you might not like what you see."

The whole car ride was silent I'm not complaining because I needed some time to think.

However, this quietness was getting annoying all my thoughts are turning violent. "Who's that girl Cole was with the other day." She let out.

She was now looking at me, "What girl he's with many girls."

She looked down at her skirt, "Many?" She sadly says.

"I'm kidding." I lie she looked like she was about to cry then and there.

"She has an Afro and she was really pretty."

"Oh you mean Roxy, that's his ex... it's not my place to tell you things you ask him yourself." I say and pull up near a gas station that was partly covered by woods.

I got out of the car along with Rose she looked like a child ready to go on a field trip.

"Why you staring at me like that?" She pouted.

"How in the world are you and Nia friends you two are two different people."

"Yeah now that you mention it."

I waited for the cars to stop passing the road I was about to pass when I felt a tug on my shirt. "You have to look both ways!" She snapped. A car passed us in pretty sure he/she was not going the speed limit, "You could've gotten ran over."

She walked in front of me, "Now come on." She ordered. "Wait when you become the boss around here." I say jogging next to her.

"Since I just saved your ass."

We finally were in the woods about fifteen minutes later she finally asked, "wait... why exactly are we going into the woods?" She questioned.

"Remember when I told you. You wouldn't like what you saw."

"Yeah..."

I stopped in my tracks when I saw a hand covered in dirt on the ground. "Stay right here." I ordered.

I ran up to Nia and knelled down touching her face she had purple bruise on her right cheek but that's not all my eyes flickered down her body she was half naked her clothes where lying on the far left of us.

I swear if they...

"What did you find something-"

I horrid scream filled the air waking up Nia. "Oh my God Nia!" She yelled rushing over to her dropping onto the ground next to me.

"Who did this to you, oh my." She cried covering her mouth.

"You guys finally came... I thought I was going to freeze to death out here." She croaked with a small smile on her face.

How the hell is she still smiling?

"I'm okay Rosie." She says hugging her, "You're lying you're not okay... You're just smiling like you always do. Hiding the pain."

"Wow... you're the first person to realize that, You truly are a friend..." Nia says before her head hit the ground. "Wake up!- " I paused waiting for her to say something "NIA!"I shouted slightly shaking her, "Liam! being crazy is not the time right now we have to take her to the hospital." Rose says trying to calm me down, I stood up and faced Rose and banged her up against the tree, "I can't take her to the f*****g hospital, We would all go down!" I shout and punch the tree making her flinch.

She looked at me mortified she looked like she was about to cry I bit the insides of my cheeks and backed away and looked down, "I'm sorry." I whisper rushing my fingers through my hair. "I'm sorry," I repeated.

I heard the leaves crunch as she slowly made her way towards me, "Liam." I heard her say, I looked up before I could react her hands connected with my right cheek making me stumble backward. "Get it together." She snapped and walked past me.

"I've been wanting to do that for a long time." She sighs.

She's right my emotions are getting the best of me, damn. "Listen I'm going to need you to park near the woods. They might think something if I bring her to the gas station like this."

"Okay."

"Don't get lost." I yelled after her.

I stared at Nia lying on the ground, I swear to God! When I get my hands on those f*****g idiots there dead. I walked up to her picking her up bridal style and started to walk to the car, I just realized I told her to drive my car. She better not crash it!

I arrived at my car and I placed her in the backseat, "Uh..." I hummed and looked at her body, "Don't worry." Rose says taking off of her jacket. "I got her covered." She says and placed her jacket on her bare body.

"Where are you going to take her?"

"My place."

"What about your car at school?" I say hoping in the driver's seat. "I'll deal with that tomorrow as of now she needs medical attention."

I looked at Rose she was sitting in the backseat with Nia rubbing her head. "What the actual f**k!" Rose let out.

I clenched the steering wheel tighter, "My thoughts exactly."
