Once all packed, we checked out of our Phoenix hotel and drove to a small, private airfield about thirty minutes away to wait for the jet. Sawyer has heard of me talk about Chase and how he has his own plane. I told him we needed to get to Minnesota fast, and that’s how we could do it. I hope that Reed doesn’t try to check up on us.
