Holy f**k. It killed me to walk away from Kami. I had never done anything so hard in my life. I thought I wanted her before, but now it’s multiplied tenfold. She is my mate, and I know for a fact she knows it too; I could hear her thoughts, and I’ve been able to listen to them ever since I bit her. That is until she realized there could be a chance the link opened. The last words I heard in her mind were holy f**k I’m screwed before I got shut out.
