One Week Later
Over the past week, I’ve been so busy with interviews that I haven’t had time to work. I plan to help my family with Grayson’s Construction until I hear from the FBI. If I don’t get accepted, I will apply to the local PD and work my way up. I have to start somewhere.
I finish my orange juice and set the glass in the sink before grabbing my car keys off the counter. Tia is at the front window, peering out while she drinks her coffee. “What are you going to do today?” I ask.
