Mating Ritual and Ceremony Part 3

Both my dad and George walked out from around the curtain for about three minutes till we said they could come back in when they came in. This was going to be a long day was all I kept thinking. We turned the lights out and got the ultrasound machine going. Doctor Peggy put some warm gel on my belly and used the probe to see if there was a pup inside me. We found that there was just one this time and that it was going to be a girl. Our dads and William's mom looked at me and said that they were going to deal with everything tonight when Peggy pushes the probe in a different direction, and we see another two pups on the screen, and the doctor agrees with them that I should take it easy for the remainder of the pregnancy. She said that with this one I was at extremely high risk.

Once the ultrasound was over, the dads had to walk back out into the hallway so that I could get cleaned up and dressed again. After that, I told them that I am Luna, so I have to be present at the ritual and ceremony tonight, and they all told me that with me having three pups this time, there was going to be too much stress on me and the pups, so I am going to be put on bed rest till the pups' delivery date about 4 months from now. I finally gave in and when we went back to the house, William and I went to our room so that I could get ready to relax for the next four months while our parents explained to the rest of the pack what was going on. William asked me before he left a few minutes later if I needed anything and I told him that I wanted to go see everyone and be with the rest of the pack. He told me that he wanted me to stay in our room and rest while everything was going on so that it didn't put stress on the pups and me, so I told him I wanted some burgers and food. He told me that he would bring it right to me.

As the night went on and on, I started to get really uncomfortable just sitting around mine and William's bedroom. Star hates to just sit around so I had a thought and was about to send a mind link to the pack doctor. I heard her footsteps as well as some other people. The others were William and our parents and our betas and deltas. They each have a cart of different food for me and the girls to eat for the next few hours. I asked what all the food was for and Lahunta and Cheyenne told me that it was for us. They were going to hang out with me for the duration of the party. The guys were going to handle everything. She has William and some of the men helping me to bed since I was sitting in the common area of our room because, even though I am only about a month to two months pregnant, the doctor doesn't want me on my feet at all, while she gets out the instruments that she will need for her exam. Once I'm in bed, she starts her examination. As she is doing this, she tells us all what she is doing so that the protective as hell men that are in the room don't try to keep her from her work.

She runs some tests and then looks at me and says, "Luna, it should be alright for you to go for a run once every few days." The pack doctor who I find out is named Peggy, looks at William and tells him that someone should go with her, and she is not under any circumstances to go by herself. He is the sometimes overly protective mate that he is. He nods his head one time as a sign that he understands. I ask if we can go now, and she says, "I don't see why you can't everything is calm downstairs for the most part." William asks if I am ready, and I tell him yes because Star is getting bored and driving me crazy. She hates to sit still for a long time. She keeps doing laps around my head, making it hurt. William and our fathers helped get me to the stairs. Then William picked me up bridal style so that I am not on my feet and so that it doesn't worry the other guests and pack members when we get outside, we go behind a tree, and he sets me down in a chair with some she-wolves around me so that I can get ready to make the change into Star. As my wolf, I am a gray wolf with dark red mixed in. I look at myself, and I am taken aback by when I first made the change. Everyone was surprised by my color, although I am not sure why. My mother was gray and so was my father. They are both more of a silver-gray color because of their older age. William's wolf, Shumani, is also a gray wolf, but he has some silver mixed in, making him look like an almost complete silver wolf. All of us being the same color was a sheer coincidence.

The ritual was going well. There were only a few fights, but none involved the Rose Moon pack. Each of the fights was settled quickly. We had a few wolves that were rejected by their mates and found that they had a second chance mate that was at the party at the same time. William and I went for our run and our wolves got to spend some time together, which made them happy. We went to our pond. We also went for a swim in both our wolf and human form. "I love being married to you and being the one that gets to give you pups and the one that gets to call you to mine," I tell William. "I love being married to you and being the one that gets to help you make those pups and being the one that calls you mine," William repeats back to me. Again, I love my life. I have the best life. My husband and kids as well as my wonderfully supportive family and friends.

After about an hour, we changed back into our wolves and started for home. Everything had calmed down so that I could visit everything with the rest of my family and my children. When we get home, I see all four of our children with four children that I do not know, and I go into protective mother mode and ask William who they are and why they are with our children through mind link. He looks at me and tells me that they are the children's mates. I looked at him like he had lost his mind when I changed back into my human form. When William changed back to his human form, he told me that they were the children's mates. He thought that they were twin siblings, just like our children were.

By this time, we were almost eight teenagers because I wanted to sit down and get off of my feet. Anthony, James, Leah, and Nicole ran over and each looked at the other and said "Mates" in unison. The four of them are all siblings and when they saw me they ran up to me reluctantly and said “momma we found our mates” as they pointed to the four other teenagers that were about their same ages sitting around a bonfire, I looked at all of them, and they stood and bowed to me and said, “Hi Luna, we are happy to meet you.” I look at each one of them to see if their intentions are pure or not but all I see is good coming from each of them. William walks over to me and says in my ear that he has already made sure that they have good intentions for our children, which puts me a little more at ease. I ask each one what their names are and how old they are. The twin boys stand and say their names are Matt and Harley and that they are 18 years old. The girls walked over to them and sat down with the two of them in a boy, girl, boy, girl line. All of them showed each other so much love. That I couldn't help but love them as one of my own. Although in the back of my mind I still was not sure of them.

The girls were next and they were twins again. They said that their names were Katelyn and Sophia and that they were 17 years old. Our boys walked over to them and the two boys sat next to them in the same way that the girls did with Matt and Harley. All I saw was nothing but love for our boys. I had realized that the children were really young but the ones that were their mates were just as young, but they were completely in love with them. I wanted to meet their parents, so I asked the children if their parents were there, and they said yes and pointed them out and then went to get them. I looked in the direction they pointed and saw that their parents were an older couple with sly smiles on their faces. The boys went over to them and told them that William and I needed to speak with them, and they came over to us with their parents. When they got to the other children, they were introduced to William and me as Alpha Ayden and Luna Akeera Night Howl. They asked if we could talk somewhere away from the children, so William and I took them to his office so that we would be undisturbed. Every time I looked at either of them I got a feeling that something bad was going to happen soon. I told William through mind link about what I was feeling, and he told me that he was getting the same vibes from the two of them. We can already tell what is up with the two of them right off the bat, because we have dealt with wolves like them before. I can already tell that they are up to something. I just can't put my finger on it. I just hope that they are not planning to attack us. I don't think that my body could handle that right now, especially since I just found out that I am carrying triplets this time. As we will soon find out, that might just be what the two of them are up to. I really didn't want to take the pair to my office since they were already looking at everything with so much disgust. William tells me that with the way they are acting, I think they are looking for weakness in our defenses alot like they are planning an attack. I tell him that I am getting the same thing from them. When the four of us got to his office, we sat down on the couches that were at one side of the room while his desk was on the other. The reason that we did that was because we didn't want them to be able to see any sensitive information for us getting any more information than they already had. Just by how they couldn't keep any story straight. I could tell that they were up to something. I just couldn't tell what.
