As we pulled up in front of the Agency, I saw the board members all outside at the tables under the shelter. They had gifts for each of the kids and something for William and me. We got out of the car, and the kids got out of Nicole's truck. We walked to the shelter while everyone stood and bowed to us. The members on the left and right of us handed the baskets to the kids, and they started glancing at them but did not give too much time to their gifts. We noticed that everything that they had all got things that they were into. Nicole got games and stuff to do her drawings. Leah got games and craft stuff. Anthony got games and a few books so that he could write down any music he wanted to put on paper. James got stuff for drawing and games. William got stuff for his office like family pictures that he had adored. We each got enough to put one at each office in each of our three almost four businesses and one for our offices at home. The board members had them put into special frames that made them look like the picture was floating. I got stuff for my office and the same floating picture frames. We could not wait to put them in our offices at each business and at home.
The meeting consisted of going over any grievances that the employees had. We all know how boring that can get. We also discussed some up-and-coming manuscripts that needed to be finalized for publishing. One of the manuscripts is a book called Our Life Together by a new and great writer named Heather. When we told them that they should meet us back at the house with their children for an egg hunt and games the following day, they told us that would be a great idea and that they would love to do that. After the meeting, we put everything in our offices and got back in our car. The kids got in the truck and started to go home when I realized we hadn't gotten anything for the kids, the pack members, and the board members, as well as ourselves. We told the kids to help out wherever they were needed, and that we were going to stop at the store.
We stopped at the store, got out, and went in to get everything we needed and deliver it to the pack house. We found everything we needed, and we were on our way home. William said, "My queen, I forgot to get something for you, so when we get home, I will have to go back out and get you something." I told him, "So did I, so we can go together, and we will just have to pay separately." He said, "Well, why don't we take separate cars so that I don't see what you get me, and you don't see what I get you?" "Okay" was all I said in response. When we got to the pack house, everything we had ordered from the store was there and unloaded into the kitchen and around the house ready so that we could work on it. I told Lahaunta and Kyle that we needed them to get everything ready so that when we got back we could get started getting all the decorations put up for the next day. We had to run back out for a few minutes so William and I could get each other something for Easter. They happily agreed their kids love spending time with our children. I got back into my Mustang and William got into his 1978 Trans Am with a "T" top that was gold and brown with a tan interior, and we headed out to the store. The first store we went to was Walmart, and then we went to a hobby shop and an outdoor sports store. We also went to a few small shops around town.
We went to 3 different stores till we got everything we needed for each other. I got him some Easter stuff and stuff that he enjoys, like hiking and biking, as well as games that he can play with the guys and some that he can play with the kids at the first store. At the second store, I got him some stuff to use in the bedroom. He gave me things that I enjoyed, like painting, coloring, and crafty stuff, so that I could do things as well as things that the girls and I could do together and things that I could do with the kids. At the second store, he got me things I could use in the bedroom. When we get back to the pack house, we unload our stuff and go to our offices to get our gifts for each other.
As I was finishing up, I got a knock on my door from one of the non-mated warriors named Bobby, who wanted to know how we wanted to decorate the great hall for the party and games for the next day. I told him to give me a second, and I would be down to help with the decorations. After about five minutes, I was done with all my stuff, so I walked down to the great hall to get started and to let everyone know what jobs I wanted and in what order they needed to be done. I told everyone we needed all hands to finish it by the next day. We all got to work once everyone was in the room and had their assignments. I was super-excited about the next day.
Soon after getting started, I kept feeling like someone was watching me, and when I looked around, I saw William standing there watching me. I looked at him and said, "Why don't you grab a ladder and help out instead of just standing there holding up the wall." He told me, "He is not sure what to do," I told him just to hang the streamers in alternating colors. The colors were blue, green, orange, yellow, pink, red, gold, and purple. When he got on the ladder, he grabbed the streamers and started to put them up.
He put up one color; then another color until they were all put up, and no color was next to each other. After he was done, he asked, "What do you want me to do next." I told him to get the baskets and put all the kids' names on them. The pups' girls are pink, yellow, gold, and purple. The boys get blue, green, red, and orange. I handed him a list of all the pups' names on it and what color basket they had. After I handed him the list, he got started. Soon after the omegas and I got done decorating, Aspen and Kyle took the kids into the great hall to see all the progress and how it looked. When they walked into the room, their jaws hit the floor (figuratively speaking). We even made baskets for our four pups.
Kyle walked over to William and asked if he needed any help. William nodded yes, and Kyle grabbed some baskets and started writing names on them. As they got one done, they would cross out the names on the list. The list we made up had all the young pups and the older pups up till the age of 10. It also had our board members and kids on it. We even went out and got other decorations for the rest of the house and their own houses, but most decorations went up in the pack house.
Everything was going to look great the next day. I walked out of the ballroom just to take a small break before getting back to decorating, and some of the Omegas who work for us at the publishing agency came to the main house and asked if they could help in any way. I told them to go in and find Layla, and she would give them a few tasks to do. Before they walked into the house, they told me that they had made sure that all the business had been decorated as well. "Thank you so much." "I had forgotten all about getting them decorated." I told them, and they said that they were happy to do it without being told to do it. They told me that they even decorated the store in front of the new boutique that we are trying to open. I told them thank you and I would check it out later. I was thinking about making a department in each business for doing any decorating for that business. That is something that I still have to talk with William about. I hope he says that it is a good idea. I think I should take him with me to check out what the girls did. I sent him a link telling him what the girls had done at the businesses and that we should check out how they looked, and he told me that he would be out in just a minute and that he was helping James with something for Easter. I told him okay, and closed the link.
When we got to the recording studio, I saw some of our old decorations that we had hung up ever since we opened it 19 years ago. There were even some new ones that I didn't recognize. So I called the front desk ladies, and they told me that they had gone out for lunch and bought some new ones and I told them that they did a great job with the decorating and that I would never have thought about that. Everything, including our offices, was decorated. It was all done very well, and I am glad that it wasn't overly done. Not all the decorations were used, but that doesn't matter. The decorations that didn't get used are there if anyone wants to put them up in their office or not. Next, we went to the publishing agency and saw that all the decorations were all new and the girls there told me that there were alot that had gotten broken, and so they went out and bought new ones. They even got a giant bunny with a basket blown up. William thought that was a good idea and asked me if I had seen the ones at the recording studio and I told him no, I hadn't. Our offices there were decorated very well, if I might add. I am so happy to have the staff that we do at each and every business that we have.
We went to the graphics and art studio, and they had a few new decorations, but most were all the same ones that have always been used. The girls texted me and told me that all the new ones were ones that they thought were artsy and that went with what they did there. They even decorated the studios and the graphics department was done. Everything was done well and not overly done. As we were leaving, I said that there was the store where we had been planning to open the boutique, and he said, let's go take a look at it and see what it looks like. I told him OK, since it wasn't that far away from the other businesses, we just walked over to it, and it was also done really well and with all the new decorations. I am super excited about the next day. While on our way back home, I talked with William about setting up a decorating department anat each business and letting the ones that did the decorating at each business pick who they want on their team to help out wherever they can. He said that I could let them know that he and I are promoting them and starting a new department for them to be the heads of as a thank you for making everything look so great. I was so happy that he thought it was going to be a great idea, and he let me be the one to tell them the good news. I just hope that they like their new postings. When we got back to the house, I had the 6 of them come with me to my office and that I had something that I wanted to talk to them about.
Once we all got to the office, we all sat down in our prospective seats and I began to talk to them about what William and I had talked about on the way back home, and they were really excited about it and I told them that the day after Easter I would meet with each pair where their offices were going to be located. They seemed to be excited as well and couldn't wait to get their offices set up. I told them that they would be able to get everything in their just how they like it. They agreed and accepted their new roles within the companies.
