Beth's POV
"Hey girl, I am so ready for lunch." Ania, the girl I met this morning comes up to me as soon as I leave history class. She tangles her arm in mine and leads us to the cafeteria.
Ania is a very cool girl by what I can see she showed me around school this morning and told me about the volleyball tryouts this Friday.
We walked as her blonde perfectly made curls bounced. She was a little shorter than me, maybe a 5.2 and she just smiled at everyone who called out to her along the way.
"So, is the food here good?" I ask as soon as we enter the cafeteria doors.
"It actually really is. You'll notice how most of the kids here take the cafeteria lunch. The lunch ladies are just super kind." Ania states with her chirpy, happy self.
"Cool." I reply smiling as I take out my phone after feeling the vibration on my back pocket. After getting a yummy plate of chicken fajitas.
It's just Liz telling me her volleyball tryouts are tomorrow.
We text a bit about our day as Ania leads me to a table where a few other people are waiting for her.
"Guys." she calls to grab their attention. "This here is Beth. She will be sitting with us from now on so make some space." Ania says as she ushers them with her hands to move up. "Beth these are the peeps. I'll let them introduce each other." Ania instructs me to sit while one by one they each say their name.
"Ray."He winks at me. "But you can call me mí amor." He finishes off.
"Julie." She raises her hand so I can connect the voice to a girl in front of me and to the left. "Ania says you are trying out for the volleyball team on Friday. Good luck." She ends with a shake of hands.
"Lorenzo." He simply nods in my direction. "Everyone calls me Enzo, though." Enzo smiles nicely at me.
"Nice to meet you guys."
They all chattered about there plans for after school and the subjects they had homework for.
"So Beth, we are going to the mall today after school, wanna join?" Julie asks with a cute dimpled smile that makes her dark brown eyes look like slits.
"No thank you, but I will probably see you there, though. My mom is taking my sister and I shopping today." I thank them for the invitation just as the bell rings. "Well see you guys around."
We all stand from the table almost at once.
"Oh can you guys tell me what building Mr Bouchan's french class is at?" I ask as I try to remember what building it was when Ania gave me the tour in the morning.
"You have his class next?" Enzo asks. But continues before I can answer. "Come with me, I'm heading that way too."
"Awesome, thanks."
I just smile at him and nod for him to lead the way.

The rest of the day went by quicker. I guess it was the fact that after lunch I had at least one familiar face in each class and in last period for Chemistry it was Julie, Enzo and Ray which worked out fine because the teacher asked us to make groups of 4 for the assignment.
As soon as the last bell of the day rings everyone is marching out the doors. I head to my locker to grab a book I'll need for homework tonight.
When I get to my locker I see Ania leaning on her locker waiting for me.
"Hi pretty creature." She greets as soon as she sees me. "I dropped off some books and decided to wait for you so hurry up. The faster you leave your books the faster we leave." She dramatically sighs.
"Thank you, but you can head out without me, my parents are picking up my sister first so they might take a while." I frown as I remember I might have to wait a bit after.
"Oh cool, then we'll wait together. That way you are not alone and I get to meet your sister." She claps her hands as she cheers in excitement.
"Okay, calm down. We can go now." I say closing my locker.
While we were waiting for my parents we made small talk and I explained the school situation with Liz.
Short after I finished the story Dad's car pulled up.
"Hey darling." Mom greeted as soon as they were at ear shot.
"Hi mom." I replied stepping next to her door to give her a hug through the window. "This is Ania, Ania these are my parents Andrea and Enrique." As I step to the back door I pull it open and see Liz on her phone. "That right there is my sister Liz." I say pointing at Liz, as soon as she hears her name she turns and waves.
"Oh hi, Ania." Liz smiles at her.
"Hi all. Pleasure meeting you." She nods at them then turns to me. "You didn't tell me you had a twin."
"Must have slipped my mind." I fake thoughtfulness. "Catch you later." We hug and she leaves for her car.

The rest of the day went by super fast.
We went to the mall bought new journals and other school supplies.
We also got new shoes and new clothes. I love new clothes, but my favorite moment ever is when the outfit you visualize at the racks looks exactly the way you expect it to.
Liz and I were in the back yard passing and throwing a ball around as she wanted to practice some throws for her tryouts tomorrow.
I threw the ball up in the air over the net. I might have hit it with a little too much force as I saw Liz speed backwards to try and receive it with a slam.
"Ow." I hear her scream before I can process what's happening.
"Oh my gosh, Liz." I yell when I see her fall. "Are you okay?" She looks in pain.
"It hurts, my ankle hurts real bad." She almost cries with her face all scrunched up.
"Oh no, your tryouts." I say worried at the same time she says. "Oh no, my tryouts."
"Beth how am I going to tryout if my ankle is injured?" She asks realization sinking in deeper.
This is awful. If only I could do the tryouts for her. "Ah, that's it Liz, I'll cover for you."
"What do you mean?" She asks confusion all over her face.
"The problem would be fooling mom and dad so I can go to your school while you rest." I keep talking as she looks at me with pain and realization to what I am hinting. "We are going to have to do the best acting of each other to pull this off. Quick take off your shirt. " I say looking around to make sure no one is looking.
"Beth I don't think this will work."
"You loose more if we don't give it a shot." I say passing her my shirt and taking off my shoes as I accept her shirt. I help her take off her shoes and put mine on trying not to hurt her already injured ankle.
"Alright, here's the plan. I'll help you inside and tell mom and dad that you are injured, saying Beth hurt her ankle. It doesn't look like you broke it so dad is just going to be his usual I can fix it myself and just put some ointment and wrap it up." I say pointing out. "You won't have to go to the doctor, but once dad bandages your foot we go to my room. I leave you there and sleep in your room so it is more believable." I stop to think a bit. "Just remember do the best Beth you can, your being on the volley team depends on this going as it should.
"Beth, thank you for trying to help, but I don't think this will work. We're going to get caught."
"No we're not just trust me. Plus we can use the guilt card and you might not have to go to my school tomorrow and be able to rest all day."
