THE BIG REVELATION

I never imagined a life like this, not even for a second. I never knew, the tables could turn like this. Daddy ran into debts while getting money for mum's medication. I had to stop schooling, I cried and cried everyday thinking a miracle would happen, but nothing happened. Thing want from bad to worse, dad sold our house and we had to move in with my aunt who stays in the slum. I became aware of a feeling called hunger, insects everywhere and the odour emitting from the surrounding is suffocating. Then I notice the change in Benson behaviour, no calls, message or anything from him. I panicked thinking something was wrong with him, finally I made up my mind to go visit him, and I went. on getting there, Benson was throwing a party and I was not invited, that was really weird. And even the bouncers will not let me in, so I decide to go to the backyard and that was where everything became dawn on me.

I saw Kasey my friend making out with boyfriend Benson, they were so engrossed that they did not notice me, I lost my voice for second, I stood there speechless. Then my other friend Rachel came in, my hopes was really high thinking she was going to reprimand but to my surprise, she was smiling. And they started talking about me, all those things they said, shattered my heart completely. it can never be mended again
