Ophelia was still in the garden when Nick approached her. He had excused Aaron and his father to talk.
“What got you so lost in thoughts?” He queried as he approached her with even steps.
“It’s nothing,” she replied curtly. There was no way she would open up about her current thoughts to him. “There has been something I have meant to ask,” she added.
