Rory was whistling a tavern ditty he’d learned from Sweet Mother only knew where, one that would get his ears boxed if anyone heard. But he was smart enough not to get caught. He’d repeated every lyric until she could sing it all the way through, too. It was lewd all right, but wonderfully witty.
