CHAPTER TWENTY As Jessie approached the wreckage of what had been her parents’ “home sweet home,” she forced herself to remember her training. If there was ever a situation in which she’d need to depend on it, this was it. Follow the evidence. Let it tell the story of what happened here. Don’t try to shoehorn it into an existing theory.
