The Rare Diamond

Chapter 19

Omar, Salma and Hayat were walking on the red carpet, attending the Glamour awards. Women looked at Omar in lust as he was looking very handsome but he didn't give a glance at any woman. He was wearing a black suit with his expensive Rolex watch, hair gelled and combed back neatly. Hayat was wearing a long black dress with a slit on the side showing of her thigh and was wearing very subtle makeup making her look very beautiful. Salma wore a blue designed sari that 'The Rare Diamond' actually designed herself. Even though Salma was 47 she looked like she was in her 30s looking very beautiful in her embroided sari.

Right behind them was Zayn looking very handsome and dashing making the girls scream in happiness as they giggled in shyness. Kemal was next who also looked sexy and dashing standing next to his brother posing for the camera. The brothers had blank expressions on as they walked further into the hall. Adil and Maryam walked together arm in arm. Salma wore a red sari while Adil wore his black suit. They couple were looking very cute together as they posed for the camera. 

The two families were seated on their tables which were next to each other. Omar's family looked at Nashwa's family but they ignored their stares. Celebrities, businessmen and other well known people started to fill the tables. Soft music was played as the lights dimmed a bit making the stage the centre of attention. 

After half an hour loud music was played and everyone stopped talking turning towards the stage. The host came up and welcomed everyone. He talked a bit and a few dance performances were made to entertain the audience. The host then started to announce the winners for each category. 

"Now, this certain someone has become the centre of attention all over social media. People have been dying to know who this woman is. Men have been dying to know how this amazing and generous woman looks like and women have been dying to meet and befriend her. I want to proudly announce our Rare Diamond as the winner as the best Fashion Designer of the year. Let's give an applause for our Rare Diamond" the host said with a smile. 

Everyone cheered as they desperately straightened their body wanting to know who this girl is. A spot light was turned on as everyone saw a figure walking towards it. Omar sat straight curious to know who she is as everyone including his mom and sister were talking about her, this included Zayn and his family. 

The cheers died down when the figure entered the spot light and that's when everyone gasped not believing their sight. Light spread across the stage as people stared at the figure in shock. They had never seen such a beauty like this before, so natural and ethereal. There was a little amount of jealousy from women but majority of the people gazed at her with respect and awe. She was a goddess and queen as she stood there on the stage. 

Zayn's family and Omar's family sat there with wide eyes not believing the sight in front of them. Maryam cried in happiness as the brothers sat there stunned. Omar looked the figure with so much love while the mother and daughter looked at their daughter in law  with pride and shock.
