Bowie made it to the bridge along with Bryton. Immediately Bryton went to Valkin’s side as the commander snapped, “I will not just allow you to kill a man without due cause. Now either tell me what’s going on, or back the f**k off.”
A light tingling made Bowie seriously unnerved. He didn’t understand what it was he was feeling or why, he just knew that whatever the thing was, it was making him uncomfortable.
Ignoring what was going on with the commander and the other dark-haired man on the large screen in front of him, Bowie went to where he saw Ridge standing, tight-lipped and looking just as uncomfortable as he did.
