Bryton jumped back sputtering, “What the f**k, Trek?”
Trek coughed, unable to speak. Had his solomente just said what he thought he said? No way. He couldn’t be ready to complete their bond just yet. They hadn’t even known each other a full day.
Shaking his head, Trek stood up and got Bryton a towel, rasping the only word he could say,
“Sorry.”
“Yeah, yeah, Just keep your tea to yourself from now on.” Then turning to Bowie he said, “And keep comments like that to yourself for now. Any more like that and I’m liable to drown. Now let’s play the game.”
