46 - Jason POV

By the Goddess, where was she? Where was Talia?

I could feel she was hurting during the battle once we had arrived. I had to find her, I needed to make sure she was ok, and that was after I got the green light from Abby to go on without her so that she could duke it out with a feral Naomi - would not want to be either one right now.

Moon Goddess, please make sure that Abby and Naomi do not tear each other's heads off whilst I locate my mate. I would never forgive myself if more harm was caused to Abby and I was not about to prevent it.

Artemis will look after her. You are not the only one to protect her.

Thanks Apollo. It will still sting but I appreciate the sentimate.

Not a problem. Now, lets go find our mate.

Based on her scent, I was picking up that she was in between the Alpha and Beta quarters, most likely would have been coming from our bedroom when the attack happened.

My arms are pumping as my legs thunder into the ground as I race my eay towards her. The scent of grapes growing stronger, as well as blood and... is that lemons?

This was confusing. The scent of lemons tickled my nose, the same way that Talia's scent had. What was going on?

No time like the present to find out as I rounded the corner to see Talia dueling with... a very alluring man. His light brown hair was slicked back and his clothes were tight against his torso.

"Talia!" I shouted at her she pushed herself away from the man. Blood dripped from her lip as she stalked away from him to come stand by me.

"Jason. This is my first mate, Hugo." She placed a hand on my shoulder as she glared at him.

I was staring at him to, but for me it was in confusion. And from the looks of things, he was looking at me the same way.

"Mate?" We both spoke at the same time.

"Yes, Hugo. Jason is my new mate, and he actually respects me, unlike you." It was nice to hear her say that about me, but I was still taking in the man before me. He was... stunning.

"Jason?" Talia tries to get my attention. The battle around us seemed to fade into the background as we drank each other in.

Mate! Mate! Mate!

Talia's our mate, Apollo.

Apparently, so is this Hugo. Remind me to thank Selene for this. I knew she would treat me right.

"Talia." I turn towards her and grab her shoudlers, not once taking my eyes off Hugo. Goddess, that was a good name. "This may sound confusing, but I think Hugo is my mate as well."

"What!?" Her eyes nearly fell out of her sockets as she looked between the two of us.

"He is right, Talia. I was thinking the same thing." Oh his voice too. So sultry. I really hope the battle was ending, as I was getting ready to pounce on him.

"How is that possible?"

"Beats me."

I go to say more, before I hear Abby across the mindlink. HELP!

"Abby is in trouble!" I mindlink Dan as I turn towards the window.

Dan, what is happening?

Continue with house clearout, Jason. There is five of us on Naomi now.

And Abby? I needed to know she was safe. This was such a strange situation.

With the McGraw sisters. She is safe. Stand down.

Breathing a slight sigh of relief, although I would be checking on Abby later, I turn towards my two mates. Goddess, thst felt weird to say.

They were having a staring match with each other. You could see the hurt in Talia's eyes as Hugo spoke. "I think Jason here is the missing piece to heal us."

"Heal us!? You think sharing a mate will fix all the cheating you did?"

"I was at a loss, Talia. You had your jobs and went on travelling, leaving me behind. I should never have gone astray, I admit that, but I was hurting because I felt empty and abandoned."

"When did your relationship start to fray?" I interjected. They both mulled it over before Talia spoke. "Around the early 2000s. Got worse mid 2010s"

"I was born in 2001 so gained my wolf 2017."

"That might explain it then. Jason existed but he wasn't our mate yet." Hugo was delight with that realisation.

"This feels ridiculous." Talia runs a frustrated hand through her hair. "All the times you cheated, I felt it. And it hurt like hell."

"I know. I felt you and Jason sleep mate and mark each other - it burned." Hugo got down on his knees as he looks up at her. "Talia, I never meant to hurt you. My actions are unforgiveable. And so, whatever I need to do for you to forgive me, just name it and I would do it." He was begging for a fresh start. Call it the mate's bond, but I was hoping she would.

She assessed him, trying to see if there was any truth to his words. "Even if I told you that you had to stand in the midday sun for an hour? So that your skin blistered and you were on the verge of death."

He swallowed a lump in his throat, I admired how his Adam's Apple bobbed, before he responded. "If it would show you how serious I am to seek your forgive this, then I would stay out there until they had to drag me back in."

"That serious?"

"That serious."

My hand reaches out for Talia's, our eyes lock as they interlace. "I know we cannot replace the hurt he has caused you, whatever you choose, I will follow you."

She looked me, the hurt filled her eyes was still present but looks like it was being taken over by another emotion - love.

After one inhale, she turns to him with her answer. "One more chance, but that is it, because now you have both me and Jason to answer me. Do you hear?"

"Crystal clear." His teeth were on full display as he smiled at us.

"Oh, and no more dr*gs."

"Done." She turns back towards me. "Thank you."

Her lips meet mine. They were so tender and soft as I let out a moan. The taste of her blood graced my mouth as I sucked on her bottom lip.

Pulling away, my eyes lock with Hugo. Walking towards him, I reach out and take a clump of his hair in my grasp before planting my lips on his.

His moans into my mouth as I push him against the wall. I could feel myself already hardening and I had no trousers restricting me since I shifted outside. And, based on what I could feel in his trousers, so was he.

Pulling a part, we glance at Talia. Her eyes were filled with lust as she stalked towards us. She locks eyes with Hugo. "We haven't done this in a while."

"No, ma'am. Lets not waste anymore time." His lips clamp onto hers. Watching this had my body go into a frenzy as my hips naturally rocked into his hips whilst I leant over to suck on Talia's neck.

Moans began to come out of the three of us. Probably best to take this elsewhere.

"Talia, I think we should head to our room." From what I could hear, the battle appears to have died down and I caught glimpses out of the window of pack warriors beginning the post battle procedures.

She breaks her kiss and locks eyes with me, giving me a gleeful nod as she takes a hold of both of our hands and guides us towards our room.

With how this night had started, this was an interesting turn of events.
