"What did you just say?" I asked with complete and utter shock.
"Look, it's nothing! This conversation is over!" he growled about to open the door when I used my magic to shut the door again. He turned around with blazing eyes, but I kept my cool.
"This conversation has just started! What does Vincent have to do with anything?"
"I'm handling it!"
"How? I can't leave the pack, 'cause he might kill me. What is going on? Does he know.."
"No! I won't let him find out where you are!" he said with a protective voice while cupping my cheeks. My heart was racing fast when my mind drifted off to what I had been through with him. He is not a human he is an animal.
