Fatimah asked is that why she has been hiding her body,that she is not free to expose herself she said yes,she is self conscious of herself.She doesn’t want people to body shame her nor looked down at her.

Then Mumeenah started her story,it began when she was a little child around 5 years old.They live in a one room apartment where many people lived that they shared kitchen and toilet.That day most people had gone to work even her parent who were teachers had gone to work.There’s a woman cooking in the kitchen as she pour palm oil inside the frying pan on a stove we she went inside to bring other ingredients unknown to her the oil is too hot,leading to the explosion of stove,it blew out a lot of fire that the woman was so scared she didn’t know how she will do it,she just carry the stove throw it outside to quench the burning the stove unknown to her there’s a little child playing outside which is Mumeenah it landed directly on her.she screamed so loud,the woman started calling for help,her shout alert other neighbors.They quickly rush her to the hospital to start treatment on her,they called her parent,they had to rush from work.The burn on her chest was huge that she undergone a serious pain that she was in the hospital for months.As the burn was healing it turned into scar.That’s why since then she didn’t got into deep friendship with anyone or show her body to anyone,she always well covered.she doesn’t want people to judge her with it or should treat her as an inferior because of her scar,it been years she has been covering it.

As she said all that she broke into tears,Fatimah stand up and hug her and console her,as she hugged her Mumeenah felt at ease that someone understand her pain.Fatimah then told Mumeenah is that why she hide it from her,she shouldn’t,it doesn’t define the love she had for her,their friendship will never change because of that,their bond will continue to be stronger,infact she’s a strong lady that covers such pains.
