Four years struggle is about to end

EPISODE NINE

Four years passed like a lecture that was boring at first but ended too fast.They entered has a strangers with big bags and bigger dreams.They survived sleepless night together,6am morning tests and departmental dues together.Now the same hands that once struggled to open school portal are signing project forms.It felt like yesterday and forever ago at the same time.semester turned to year,before they knew it’s final year.

That’s the case of Fatimah and Mumeenah they’re already in their final year and their bond and friendship are still tight.From 100 level been together till 400 level.From strangers to being friends.

It’s bright and sunny day,students are seen in different places reading,some are in the library preparing for their next paper of examination.Fatimah and Mumeenah were in the library reading for their final year and last semester examination in school.They were discussing about life after school,what kind of work they will do,marriage life and most especially they will missed each other after going on their different ways.It was really a emotional day for them.They kept the distraction aside and read for their paper.

The examination is already coming to an end,from first paper to the second to the last paper.Fatimah and Mumeenah came back together exhausted,the exam paper was tough it was a calculation exam,it took a lot of time and strength.As they sat down on the bed to rest,Fatimah strike a conversation.

She said”Eheh did you know what happen this morning before our exam I was really angry this morning”

Mumeenah replied”I noticed that too on your face but I couldn’t comment on that because the invigilator came inside and it skipped my mind after we were through”

Fatimah replied”while I was in the bus this morning I was trying to memorize what I have read during the night I was with my handout trying to revise what I read so a group of secondary school just enter the bus started to gist,I warn them at first,they didn’t answer,I ignored them,the one stupid girl just spill water on the book I was reading half of it torn,she couldn’t even apologize and I have been warning them,immediately I slapped her,the bus people were blaming me that she is a small girl,they didn’t see I have been warning her since”

Mumeenah sighed and softly said”subhanallah,you shouldn’t have slapped her,you don’t know her before,you will have corrected and it even in a public,you know those little children are always naughty”Fatimah just hissed and said”she’s just a spoilt brat that needed to be corrected if they didn’t teach her at home,it’s outside they will teach her,I was really pained,she disrupted what I was reading after several warning even torn what I was reading,I can’t take such nonsense”.

Mumeenah just calmly said it is fine she shouldn’t behave like that again,she should try controlling her anger.She nodded and said thanks.They retire to bed before they read their last examination paper.
